I couldn't sleep knowing I had a "date" with Finn so I just stayed up reading, probably not the best idea.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, still holding the book in hand.
I moved the book and reading lamp to the side and got out of bed.

7:30 AM.
I was too nervous to get up, it wasn't like I liked Finn, but we had to be a couple, act like one. I was never allowed to have a boyfriend so I don't know how I'm supposed to "act in a relationship" or how am I supposed to announce our "romance" to the public.
I just wish this isn't a huge mistake.

I didn't bother to pick an outfit, It doesn't matter what I pick, I'm not going to wear it out in public. I have a professional dresser as the future queen and can only wear what they hand me.

I ranted out the library for just me and Finn, but we are never truly alone. We always have body guards with us.

I get my outfit for the day and get changed, I head down to my siblings room. They are twins, share the same room with different bedrooms, like their own little apartment.
I knocked on their door and Celest opened the door.
"Well look at the future queen ready for her first date" she teased me.
"Be quiet" I say as I push through her to get inside her room.
Dane was sitting down playing his game.
"Y/n come play with me" he shouts not breaking eye contact with the TV.

We all sit next to each other in the couch. Dane pauses the game and looks at me.
"Are you excited for your big day queen?" he teases. We grew up knowing I was going to be the future queen so they have always referred to me as such.
I covered my face with my hands.
"So how was he? Is he hot?" Celest asks
"Celest!-You know I don't like him like that" I reply.
"You don't know that, you barely met him" Dane chimes in.
I rolled my eyes at both of them
"Just give me a break, I'm nervous as it is. Mom and dad wants me to get married as soon as possible" They both look at each other and hug me.
"You will be a great queen, just wait" Celest whispers.

We hear a knock on the door and we all knew that it was time. They let go of me and walked me to the door.
"Good luck!" they both shouted.
I followed my body guard to the library where Finn was already waiting for me. He was sitting down on the rug with a book in hand.
"Can you wait for me outside?" I asked my security guard and he nodded.
I walked to where Finn was and took a seat next to him.
"What are you reading?" I asked
He closed the book and put it to his side
"Nothing interesting, but now that you're here we should probably get to know each other" he says
I agreed with him but then we just stay silent.
"So what do you like to do?" I say trying to break the awkwardness.
"I like playing the bass and Guitar, occasionally sing" he says making eye contact with me "What do you like to do" he asks
I look at him and break eye contact to look down at my hands
"Well I like spending time with my siblings"
"You should teach me how to play the guitar some time" I say
I turn my gaze up to make eye contact with him and he reaches for my hand without breaking eye contact
"Here" he says as he holds my hand and his closer to my body
"You hold the guitar like this and then move your fingers to the flow of the song" he starts to place my fingers in different note keys.
I can feel his hair on my shoulder, he has the prettiest curls I have seen.
He lets go of my hand and looks down at his legs and moves his legs closer to mines.
I start to lean my head on his shoulder
"is it okay?" I ask
"mhm" he says
I start to get nervous being so close to him, I didn't think he would make me feel this way.

"want to play a game" Finn asks
"Sure"
"Let's ask each other awkward questions, you go first" he offers
"hmm well when was the last time you kissed someone?" I asked
"a few weeks ago" he whispers.
I pull my head away to make eye contact with him
"Who was it?" I ask
"She doesn't matter now, It's my turn" he changes topic
I lean my head back to his shoulder
"Are you a virgin?" Finn asks
"I am not answering that!" I say
Finn doesn't answer "Yes, I am" I finally say
"are you?" I asked
"No" he whispers again
We don't say nothing for a moment. He pulls my head up from his shoulder and grabs my face
"You have some of the prettiest eyes I have seen" He says. I blush and look away.
"You don't have to be nervous around me, you know" Finn says
I turn to look at him and he places his thumb on my cheek. He starts to get closer to my face until we are centimeters away stopping right before reaching my lips.
"I wouldn't mind falling in love with you" He whispers.
I pulled my face away from him, holding his hand
"You know what, maybe I wouldn't either"
We both laughed and kept on talking.
My security guard knocks on the door and told me I needed to head home
"Goodbye Queen" Finn says as he bows down to me
I push him "oh stop" I say.

I go directly to my siblings room after my "date" with him.
"So how was it?" both ask
"i think I might just fall in love with im, maybe, just maybe"
