Finally Awake

Ever since the trip to Egypt, Jotaro has fallen into a routine. For six months straight, he's been going to school, going home to do his work, then go to the hospital to visit his best friend, who is in a coma. Kakyoin has been in a coma for six months, and Jotaro was starting to worry. However, something unexpected happened.

Jotaro arrived at Kakyoin's room and sat in his usual seat next to Kakyoin. He pulled out a book he just started on marine biology and started reading it aloud to Kakyoin. He liked to do this because it kind of made him feel better. Kind of.
After about thirty minutes of reading, Jotaro stopped and put the book away. Then, he took Kakyoin's hand in his and kissed his pale knuckles. Jotaro kissed Kakyoin's knuckles a few times, then leaned in and started kissing Kakyoin's cheek. Jotaro noticed that his skin was cold.
"I love you, Kakyoin." Jotaro whispered.
"I... love you to... Jotaro..." Jotaro opened his eyes wide and looked around. Then, he slowly turned his vision to Kakyoin, who was smiling and clearly awake.
"Kakyoin! You're awake!" Jotaro then held Kakyoin gently and started kissing him. Soon, Jotaro moves his lips stood Kakyoin's and they started making out. It was sloppily done, but it was a kiss.
"I didn't expect you to... kiss me," Kakyoin muttered, his voice weak. "Can you do it again?" Jotaro nodded firmly then joined Kakyoin on the bed. After a few moments, they started kissing again. As they were kissing, Jotaro heard the heart monitor attached to Kakyoin go faster and faster.
"Mmm, you're enjoying this?" Jotaro pulled away from Kakyoin, but their faces stayed close, only being connected by a thick strand of saliva.
"Yeah..." Kakyoin smiled shyly, then watched as Jotaro wiped away the saliva. Then, Jotaro snuggled into bed with Kakyoin and held the redhead close.
"I'm so happy you're awake."
