So, I've officially made a plot to smuggle my grandparents to another city for coverage. First, I tell my parents. They approve the idea, so next step. "Grandma, Grandpa?" I say. "Yes, honey," Grandma Tran says. "You need to escape the city. Refugee to another place. Go to another city. They're terminating the old people!!! Leave, Go!!! Spread the word," I say. "Grandma and Grandpa Black!! Flee the city!! Go to another one, they're terminating elderlies!!!" I exclaim ending the call. No time to explain. Next thing I know, I find myself faxing out papers of warning to old folks homes and local health care buildings. Throwing papers in yards, like newspaper. I need to spread the word quick! Before it's too late. I go to sleep. Tomorrow morning I'll text Espy first thing.

Me : Hey Espy!!! Help me with spreading the word about elderlies!! We can't have them die!!

Espy: Ay mi Díos, okay okay. I must pipe up. Though, this was a scam and supposed to last a week, I can't trick you out of your own cash. The girls at school bet me that I couldn't trick you into paying me 1 dollar a day for double every day for "the benefit of old people". I'm sorry! But heck!! I had you FOOLED!!!

Me: you freakin scallywag im so p-ed off u dont even understand, i just calld both sets of grandparents 2 warn them and scheduled flights!!! I set up travel agents and arrangements!! I did all this crap for you to tell me it was a JOKE?!!!!!!!

Me: soo... wat wuz wrong wit da old guy and y didn't u let me SAVE him?!

Espy: cuz he stepped on my foot a few days ago in line and looked at me and laughd

God, that girl has a potty mouth, I think. I chose her for my friend. I have other friends, though.

I'm going to kill Esperanza!!!! I'm so mad she tricked me!!!
"Mom! Dad!" I yell."Esperanza tricked me!!" "What?" My mom says. "This was all a prank?!" My dad yells. "She had us so ALARMED!!" my mom says. "That girl plays too much. Call your parents and tell them they can stay, Tina. Lord, have mercy," says dad. "She tricked me," I say, dazed. Sometimes, I really hate that about her. Last year, she told me there was no school on the EOG date and I believed her!! So, I had to make up the test. I didn't talk to her for like a month. But besides being a total prankster, she's funny and a great friend. I love Esperanza.
