4: Looking for an Answer

It has been a few days since Zak and Darryl tried to find out where Vincent went. They checked his Twitter account to see if he made a new tweet, his Instagram if he was online, his Discord, Twitch and every social media that he has. They even constantly checked in TS if he was online at some point. Just in case, they opened their TS' 24/7 just to see if he joined either one of their rooms. 

On one particular day, Zak was editing his videos for his second channel, Skep. It was a Bedwars video with BadBoyHalo, Spifey and MegaPVP. As he was editing, he received a call from Spifey. He stops editing and picks up the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Zak. Sorry to disturb you, I'm pretty sure you're editing right now."

"Hey, George. Nah, it's fine. What's up?"

George went silent for a second, and spoke up about the thing that Zak is struggling with the most right now. 

"Have you guys, you know, got in contact with Vin? It has been a few days, and I was just wondering if-"

Zak cuts off George's words. "No, we haven't found him. And we're doing the best we can." They both went silent, and Zak was remembering the times that he spent with Vincent. To him, he was somebody that was special to him. From being his #1 fan, to becoming his best friend and fellow content creator, he had a lot of adventures with him. George could feel Zak's feelings all the way from London. 

"Can I help with anything?" George tries to convince Zak to help, but Zak stayed silent. George knows that he might not be able to help with anything at the moment, but he suggested a plan that could definitely help both Darryl and Zak. "How about you two try and call the people that are connected to Vincent? Maybe they could help."

Zak's eyes brightened and a grin formed on his face. "George, you're a genius! Thank you so much, I'm gonna tell Darryl right now!" He opens up TS and opens a room. George smiled and was glad that he could help, even with the smallest of things. "You're welcome, Zak. And good luck." George hangs up, leaving Zak alone, but he was sort of not alone. He was waiting for Darryl to join his TS. 

User joined your channel.

"Darryl!"

Darryl jumped a bit and laughed. "Oh my goodness, Skeppy! Don't make me jump like that!"

"Ok, first of all, I'm sorry. Secondly, I have news!"

Knowing that it was going to be about Vincent, Darryl got excited and was listening carefully. 

"So basically, George called me just now and-"

"Which George? GeorgeNotFound, or Spiffy?" 

Zak went speechless and facepalmed himself. Darryl was left confused and silence fills the air. Zak spoke back up after being speechless at Darryl's question. "Spifey. Ok, can I now finish my sentence?" Darryl laughed. "Yes, yes you can." 

Zak takes a deep breath and explains about how they can find Vincent. After a minute of explaining to Darryl, they both were pleased about the idea and they started right away. They both muted their mics so it wouldn't disturb their conversations. 

Microphone muted.

Zak looks through his contacts and sees Jude, a.k.a F1NN5TER. He dials the number and it was picked up immediately. "Hello?" Zak says through the phone. 

"Hey Skep. What's up?" Jude says while organizing his e-girl outfits. 

"I just wanted to ask you something." Jude sits down at his gaming chair and listens. "Have you like, talked to a6d these days?" Jude was confused on why Zak would ask this question when they both would talk everyday. "No...why?" 

"I'll explain later, but when was the last time you both talked?" Zak asks. Jude opens his Telegram to see that the last time he talked with Vincent was a week ago. As he saw that, he didn't realize that he didn't talked to Vincent for quite some time. "A week ago. That's weird." he realized that something was wrong. "Is there something wrong with him?" "I'll talk to you later, if you wanna know more just look at my Twitter. Thanks, bye!" "You're welcome, I guess?" 

He hangs up on Jude and looks for someone else. This time he calls Harvey, or more known online as TapL. His phone rings for a few seconds before Harvey answered the call. "Hi Zak. What's going on?" 

"Hey Harv, ok I have to ask you something real quick." Harvey, who was looking through YouTube listened. "When was the last time you got in contact with Vincent?"Harvey thought for a second and remembered something. "I think it was about a week ago? Maybe more than that? And I also heard some weird screaming coming from his mic." Zak immediately typed it on his keyboard. "Ok Harv. Thank you! I'll talk to you later!" Harvey realized what was going on and replied Zak with a simple "You're welcome!" 

On the other hand, Darryl is calling someone that he knows very well. The person who picked up the call was Dream, or what Darryl called him, Clay. 

"Hey Clay! Can I ask you something real quick?" 

Clay was watching speedrun videos when Darryl was calling him. "Hi Bad, yeah sure, what's up?" 

"I was wondering if you have been talking to a6d these days?" Clay paused his video and answered Darryl's question. "Hm, I don't know. Maybe like, a week ago?" Darryl was interested in knowing more so he asked another question. "Ok so in your conversation with him, did he say anything about himself?" "Not really, but I did heard something weird coming from his mic. There was like banging and sounds of boxes falling over." Darryl started to think that something was going on. "Ok then. thanks muffin." Clay laughs at Darryl calling him a muffin, which he is used to already.

Soon, both Zak and Darryl opened their mics and they both have some great news to share. 

Microphone activated.

"I got some news!" Darryl said in an exciting tone. 

"Me too! You go first." Zak also is excited. 

"Ok so basically, I called Dream and I asked him when he last talked to Vincent. He said that the last time they both talked to each other was about a week ago. Now, the weird thing is, when they were in a TS call, he heard some banging and some boxes falling, which is very suspicious."

Zak started questioning what was going on and gave his own information. 

"That's weird. By the way, what I got was from TapL. So what he said was that when he was in a call with him, he heard some weird screaming."

Darryl started getting worried about all of these, and he started thinking about all the bad things that might've happened to Vincent, his best friend. Zak was also feeling the same thing. They both sighed and they went silent.

Darkness is filled in the air of this suspicious container. The light is barely coming inside. The tied up person, who was Vincent, gave up on trying to escape. Now he was inside a room which had a bed, a table and a chair, a bathroom and some books. There was also cameras inside the room, keeping watch on him. 

He sat on the bed and thought about his friends and family, especially Zak and Darryl. There was a knock on the heavily locked door. The door opened to reveal a man wearing all-black. He walked pass by Vincent and gave him some food on the table. It was only a piece of bread and a single apple. 

The man looked at Vincent and said in a dark voice, "Mangez-le. (Eat it up)"

He exited the room and locked the door which had 10 different locks. Vincent turned around to look at the food. The table and the chair reminded him of his studio, where he spends 80% of his day at. He misses playing games, editing, running his radio station OnlyHit and most importantly, talking to his friends. He hears the voices of Zak and Darryl in his head. He tears up and holds them back. He looked down and said to himself;

"I miss you guys."
