"Stop her! Don't let her get away."

A roar so mighty that causes her to shudder to the bones is heard as loud and as wide the wave particles can reach in the forest. Clutching to her bleeding abdomen, she forces herself to keep running, ignoring all the warnings and red alerts from her body. 'I am not giving up now. Not now. Not yet,' she thoughts as soon as she starts seeing black dots. This definitely indicates that her body is reaching her limit. Well, it's not that surprising when seeing the damage that had been done to her body, with endless blood loss from different parts of her body. Besides, she is only a human facing one of the strongest hybrids ever created - a cheetah hybrid, along with his men.

How did it gets this stage? Well, everything was pretty much normal and in harmony back then. Scientists, a group of people who love to experiment with random stuff just to prove their intelligence to the whole world decided that they wanted to upgrade their game by messing around with the DNA and genetics. Thus, came the hybrids - half-animal, half-human. The creations received too much backlash back then, especially from the religious sides but it somehow improved after the scientists informed that humans can use, discipline, and train the hybrids however they want. Hybrids used to be a symbol of wealth and status but then changed to every human can own a hybrid as soon as the hybrids overpopulated. Hybrids were used for so many things - both bad and good. Sex slaves, labor, serial killers, servants to the point some humans even married them, claiming each other as mates. There were just too many things going on and the world was in great chaos because humans who were fighting for hybrids' rights started to protest and create rallies as there were too many hybrids being mistreated. A few years past and thus hybrids' rights were gained. Now, humans and hybrids can live together in harmony. Well, most of them do because there are some unsatisfied humans who couldn't bear the idea of walking the same path as the hybrid, unable to see the hybrids as equal. However, certain hybrids start to be self-aware about how much superior they are to humans and decided to take advantage of that which leads to Youngmi's case right now.

Youngmi starts running as fast as her bleeding legs and half-unconscious state can bring. Breathing is getting harder and she starts to think that this escape plan is a failure, again. She can hear footsteps, huffing, and panting behind her. 'They are getting closer. This is impossible.' She is planning to surrender like the "good girl she is" he said and brace herself for the punishments. "Come back to me, baby girl and I promise I will not punish you." 'Lies. Everything that comes out from his mouth is a lie. A big damn lie.' However, her condition is getting worse as she had been running for quite some time- a few days honestly, not even allowing herself to take a rest. When did the last time she ate, she had no idea as one thing for sure - she cannot rest until she is back home - her home. Just a few moments when she is about to give up, luck decided to stay a little longer with her when she spots a manor a few meters away from her. This manages to fuel her by sprinting again, pushing herself to the limits even though she knows that she is going to pass out soon. 'Just a bit more, Youngmi. A bit more, then you can fix yourself for a while before continuing your journey.' Luck stays by her side again when she sees that the gate is slightly open to which she slips inside without creating any noise, considering how small she is. She immediately hides behind one of the thick bushes. 'How lucky can I get, I have no idea,' she thoughts as she moves quietly behind the bushes, not wanting to attract any attention from the owners of the house and not planning to leave many scents - though that is practically impossible. Once again her luck takes her side when she notices that the backdoor is open. She stays still, trying to listen to any noise coming from the inside. 'Five? No, seven guys. I am so fucked up.' Of course, humans can't really listen as well as the hybrids, but after living for so long with the cheetah, she managed to adapt and improve her abilities to create a perfect escape plan though of course, it is not on par with the hybrids' superhearing abilities but just enough for her to stay alive. 'Well, at least they are upstairs. It is now or never, Youngmi,' she slips into the backdoor as silent as a cat and as fast as lightning. It is just the perfect moment because she spots the cheetah and his men coming from the forest. Thanks to her magnificent luck, again, she finds the bathroom and slips inside. Sitting against the door for a while, she can hear the commotion outside.
