The car ride home is dead silent. No one is talking. Namjoon is staring mindlessly outside the window, supporting his head with his hands as his elbow is on the car door armrest. Jungkook is staring down at his bloodied hand, it is dry now, and his blood-stained shirt. He doesn't realize it earlier, probably because he had other priority in mind. Now that he noticed, he is unsure how to react because he knows that this resulted from his struggles with the human girl. Seokjin, well, he is the driver so he needs to get his mind on the road or else more people will end up in the hospital today. As soon as the car passes through the gate, a sight of a Calico cat hybrid and a snow tiger hybrid is seen sitting at the porch, seemingly waiting. The two of them soon jump up as they caught sight of the car, tails swaying, ears perk up, eyes alert. Soon after, a red panda hybrid joins them but he merely stands at the doorway, waiting because unlike the other two, he notices the absence of a particular human girl who had been forcing everyone to exercise by running around like wild animals.
"Where is she?" The first question comes out once the two noticed.
"I'm sorry, Jimin. But she needs to be hospitalised. Her condition was rather... critical but according to Minseok hyung, everything went well," Seokjin replies, giving a sympathetic smile at the crestfallen cat.
"Cri-cri-critical?" Taehyung speaks up, eyes wide.
"Yeah, but don't worry. She is okay now, just asleep. We just return to eat and freshen up. If you are up for it, we can visit her together later?"
"Yes! Yes, please. Come, come, you guys should eat. Hobi hyung and I made brunch," Jimin immediately ushers them inside, seemingly not wanting to waste anymore time. Namjoon and Seokjin let out an amused chuckles while Jungkook weakly smiles at Jimin's antique. Though everyone else had eaten, they couldn't help but to gather in the dining room bombarding the three with questions and the elder tries to explain everything in the best way he could.
"Human trafficking?" Yoongi asks.
"It's a hypothesis. But seeing the current situation, it seems about right. Guess there's nothing else we can do other than waiting for her to wake up," Namjoon replies.
"Not even her name? I can't keep calling her 'human' in my mind," Hoseok says.
"I'm sorry Hobi. But there's nothing we can find. Even when I was filling in the documents, I have to leave all informations about her empty," Seokjin admits.
"I'm done, can I go and freshen up now?" Jungkook asks.
"Sure, Jungkook."
Jungkook leaves the dining room, bringing his plate and glass with him as he puts them in the sink before going upstairs to his bedroom.
"Is Jungkook okay? I can smell the distress from him," Taehyung asks as soon as he hears the door's closed.
"Probably not. He was kinda reluctant in leaving her back there earlier. He only agreed when I promised that we will come again with everyone."
"He's attached to her already?"
"I don't think attached is the right word, Tae. He was just worry, I assume? Besides, her emotions probably affected him in some sort of way," Namjoon corrects.
"Yeah, her emotions did affect Hobi earlier, remember?" Yoongi adds, earning a bashful look from the red panda.
"Ah, I see. It might cause some problems if he's attached to her," Taehyung mutters, side eyeing Jimin a while before looking back at Seokjin, who simply raises his eyebrow at his previous action.
They chatter for a while before letting Namjoon and Seokjin go to freshen up.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, things have gone south. "Miss, Miss, please calm down, this is the hospital," the nurse says as she tries to restrain the girl and damn she has a lot of energy.
