part 31

the door rang and Jaden jumped out of the couch that we were sitting on. my body flung forward and i rolled my eyes, he gave me a soft sorry as he walked over to the door. Jaden decided sense he hadn't seen his mom and friends in awhile he wanted to invite them over.

which made sense and i kinda wanted to show his mom the house. you know it's my baby basically and me and her are actually good friends. she always liked me but sense Jaden was always at are house i never saw her. not until Jaden joined the basketball ball team when he was 14. At that time i got to see him and his mom all the time.

of course his dad was always there too, john was always talking about funny jokes. How he was the king at dad jokes and no one could top him. he was a father to me sense my dad was in the army. that changed when Jadens dad got Alzheimer's and his mom wanted to move.

she needed an escape and i understand that, i really do. i snapped out of my thoughts when i heard- Jaden calling my name. " Nick, Maya,maya, nick." he said pointing back and forth from each other. i nodded my head and smiled as i shook his hand. "nice to meet you, is it just him?" i said looking at Jaden and back at the boy.

Nick answered for Jaden before he could even process his thoughts. " no there all grabbing stuff. kouvr made food and she made so much." he said laughing which made us laugh. just as he said kouvr's name two boys came up with cupcakes and cookies.

before one of the boys could protest the other one put the box of cookies on the other boys box. i smiled remembering who this boy was. "kio!" i said walking up to him and hugging him. he had gotten taller than when i last saw him. that kid got me threw a lot when i was younger. " hey kiddo." he said messing up my hair like i'm a baby.

i swatted his hand away fixing my hair, looking up at the other boy. " you must be.." waiting for a response from the boy who was really tall. he kinda reminded me of the guy from ice age, the squirrel. " Bryce." he said shaking my hand while still holding the other stuff. i shook his hand and smiled he really does look like that kid.

the rest of them came in in a wave, chase who reminded me of a kid who went to my school. he liked to dress goth. he was also really tall but also skinny, even tho he was stuffing himself with food, i wish. charli and this girl dixie came in next, i would have guessed were twins.

Charli was apparently a dancer and dixie was a singer, both very sweet. Nessa and Josh walked threw the doors and i literally screamed. i ran up to them and gave them a big hug, getting a hug in return. i haven't seen them sense i was last in La which was probably a long as time ago.

what's time anyway, kouvr and 4 other boys came walking threw the door. patrick, alex, thomas,and ryland. the all were very sweet and so funny, i could t stop laughing. as soon as everyone got into the house i realized someone was missing. Jaden's mom, i walked out the front door and saw Jaden sitting there.

" she's not coming." Jaden said as i approached him, like he knew i was already there. i sat next to him quietly as i waited for him to speak, knowing me saying something will make it worse. "She sent me a text." he said handing me the phone letting a sigh come out of his mouth.

i looked at the message she sent, ' sorry love bug, can't make it. work-xo mom.' i turned the phone off and threw it across the side walk and hitting the neighbors tree. Jaden got up almost running over to it. i grabbed his hand pulling him closer to me, he tried pulling away.

"wtf Maya." he said his voice more whispering than yelling. i smiled at him and grabbed my phone pulling it out of my pocket. i showed it to him and i threw it in the same direction as i did with his phone. " now your just dumb." he said rolling his eyes.

" phones are stupid, you don't need it. it's distracting you from this." i pointed to me and all the people in the house what you could here from the outside. Jaden laughed at me and grabbed my waist kissing my forehead. " your right." he said making me smile, only to be ruined by people coming outside.

" anthony is here!" Josh said as he ran to go grab anthony, we all started laughing as anthony was being pulled away from the car. " hey don't hurt him he's my boyfriend!" a girl said from the car as she got out, she was small but looked very sweet. anthony got away from Josh walking over to me and Jaden.

my heart was pounding cause i didn't want to cause problems. Instead Anthony hugged Jaden making a breathe i didn't know i was holding come out. he pulled away and walked over to me, "hey stranger." he said smiling at me, i smiled back as the girl walked over to us.

" ah this is avani." avani waved and i smiled at her she seemed like an awesome girl. i just hoped my past didn't change anything.

" who wants chick fil a?" Nick said walking over to us with bags of it. Jaden and all the boys screamed yes and all ran over to Nick. All the girls started laughing together as the walked over to me.

"you finally got him didn't you?" they said as i nodded my head.
even when the didn't know me, you could tell how proud i was to be his. i wouldn't change it for the world, i wouldn't hesitate to love him for the rest of my life.

The rest of the night we were dancing around in the grass and all the girls were talking awhile we waited for more people to come. The boys just Dancing around while songs played and food flying everywhere.

i wouldn't change it.
