Betrayed by a friend

Merlin heard the scream and he and the others quickly ran towards the sound. When he arrived he couldn't believe his eyes when he noticed the girl he once was best friends with, kill the guard in cold blood.

"Stop!" His friends shouted and the girl looked up. She noticed Merlin and laughed.

"It was nice seeing you again." She smiled, what she did next will haunt him forever. She ripped some flesh off the dead body and just ate it. Merlin felt as if he was gonna throw up and he could hear that the others were trying the same. Then, a guard of the village threw up and then some others followed.

"Tasty." The girl said before turning into a fox and running away, leaving behind her maniacal laugh.

"Who was that?" Arthur asked, finally finding his voice back.

"Húlí." Merlin just answered. He couldn't believe it. She betrayed him. It won't take long until she will try to kill him.

"Wait, that's that girl?" Lancelot asked and Merlin nodded.

"What happened to her?" Greg then asked and Merlin shook his head.

"I don't know, but she's more dangerous than ever. She did this for fun."

"Do you think she killed Alatan and Lóng?" Léi asked and Merlin shook his head.

"No, that is another traitor."

"I didn't know that she has magic." Faun stated, he walked towards the body and put his coat over the body. He then dragged it back to the village.

"Everywhere we go, someone dies." Leon mumbled and shook his head. How much more sadness are they gonna see?

The rest of the day was in silence, they burned the body with all his properties. He left behind a girl of the age of nine and a grieving widow.

"Tomorrow we will leave, Greg got a note telling him that the ones who went to Píngdàn got attacked and were killed. That's where we go next." Merlin said and soon they all went to the tent and fell asleep. The men eating girl haunting their dreams.
