She finds happiness in the sun,
so her sorrow is brought to the light.
She does not allow herself to fall to the shadows,
so she stays close to the sun's sight.
She brings everyone close
and gathers them hand in hand.
She opens her arms for each to join
as she takes a stand.
Sorrow is just the emotion of today.
Unless we create a change,
it will be constant day after day.
So she stood with all
as they stood tall.
In the sun,
the sorrows of each person
all began to fall.
Yellow sorrow shows that all sadness
can be resolved
if you allow your sorrow to cling onto the light
and let the sun burn it down.
You can still be joyous
when you are in sorrow.
She found that happiness
by taking the hands of others
who were in the dark,
and showing them to get the sunlight,
where they'd need to stand.
For her sharing her light,
the sun shined down upon them all,
and her sorrows went away.
Because she helped others along the way,
in her sadness and pain,
and not let the light dissolve in the wounds that stain,
she managed to find the way out
with more friends to gain.
