"WHERE'S MY DARN KARAOKE MACHINE?! WE NEED TO GET RAMSEY ON THAT THING TONIGHT!" Elijah shouted. "Elijah.. is there really any need to scream?" Jackie asked as she fluffed the cushions on the couch. "Jackie... this could be made into a viral moment. So yes... THERE'S NEED TO SCREAM!" Elijah responded. Casey chuckled at her roommates as she helped Sienna prepare the snacks for game night. Usually it was just them but tonight they had invited, Rafael, Bryce and Ethan to come along too. Sienna smiled as she finished drizzling chocolate over her muffins. Just then there was a knock on the door, and Casey walked over to answer it.

"Raf! Hey! Thank you for coming. You to Bryce!" Casey spoke cheerily with a bright smile on her face as she gave them both a massive hug before welcoming them into the apartment. They walked in and took seats on the couch with Aurora who was trying to finish typing up some case notes amid the chaos currently taking place. Casey was about the close the door when a voice startled her as it sounded from behind. "I hope you weren't planning to start without me? "Casey turned around and smiled at the man before her. "Hey Ethan!" She chirped and gave him a hug, which he returned with a smile and friendly pat on the back. He handed her a bottle of wine with an AWFULLY expensive label on it, leaving her gawking at it in astonishment as he walked into the apartment and took a seat on the couch with everyone else. "Yo Cassie! You joining us??!" Bryce shouted over, "Yeah. Just one sec. I'm going to put this in the kitchen." She smiled over at Aurora as they headed their separate ways to put away what they were holding. Soon everyone was gathered in the main living area, gathered around the coffee table playing Pictionary. "It's a pig!" Sienna guessed, "NO IT'S NOT!" Elijah shouted. "A dolphin!" shouted Aurora. "Me being heroic!" Rafael grinned. Everyone paused and looked up at Rafael from the drawing Casey was doing. "What?" he asked. "Raf, you can be so egotistical" Sienna sassed. Everyone chuckled at Sienna's comment and then turned their attention back to the pad and Casey continued to draw. Ethan stared then let out a huge gasp. "It's you at that fountain! Ohhh.. what's it called? .... what did you call it? It was cute because you carried the name with you from when you wer- THE SLOOSHY WOOSH DRIP DRIP FOUNTAIN!" Everyone looked at him stunned at his sudden raise of volume but you just blushed. "Well done Dr. Ramsey" Casey spoke quietly, "I may have a talent for guessing" he grinned. "Wait... You actually called a fountain that?" Jackie asked, "Well....... Yeah. I was like 4 Jackie." Casey said defensively. "Hey. I'm not saying anything else. Just that Ethan's right. It's cute" she smiled.

After a few more round of Pictionary, you all decided on a couple movies to watch and got comfortable round the TV with beverages and snacks. Aurora grabbing some blankets for if it started getting cold. About halfway through the first movie you got up to get another drink, Ethan following you and closing the door behind him. "Hey uh.. Casey? Can we talk?" he asked quietly, "Sure. What's up?" She asked. "Well. It's my dad. He keeps pushing me to go and see my mum with him. I really don't want to but have no clue how to tell him." He told her. "Just say it. You're both adults and he has to understand. Don't let this hurt you more than it has to Ethan. You're too good of a doctor to let the stress of this get to you on top of the stress of our current cases." She commented back to him as she recorked the bottle of wine, taking a sip from her glass. "... Thanks Casey." He smiled, knowing she was right, so he needn't say anything more. "Of course! Anytime!" Casey beamed as she gave him a hug and then headed back to her space next to Jackie in the living area, continuing to watch the movie.

After the 2nd movie had finished the snack bowls were taken back into the kitchen and replenished and covered for later. "What should we do next?" Aurora asked as she looked at everyone around the room, as they shared the same perplexed look, not knowing what to do. Casey looked at Ethan and smirked. His eyes widened as he looked at you, making eye contact and he shook his head. "Chubby bunny challenge!" you yelled as you leaped up to go and grab marshmallows from the kitchen. You came bounding back. "Casey picks pairs" Elijah smiled. "Okay... Elijah you can go withhhh, Sienna. Jackie and Rafael. Bryce and Aurora and I'll go up against Ethan" She smiled and handed out the marshmallows. They all took seats around the dinner table and opened their packs of marshmallows. "Ready. Set.... GO!" Bryce exclaimed. They all started the challenge in their pairs, each tallying every time they fit a mallow in their mouth. The room was filled with laughter and shouts of "Chubby bunny" that slowly got more and more muffled. Even Ethan started enjoying the game about halfway though. Smiling at laughing the harder and more ridiculous it got. Suddenly there was a shout from the other end of the table. "Nooooooooooo!" Bryce exclaimed as he wiped his chin with a napkin, Aurora sitting back in her chair smirking at him as she chewed and swallowed her mallows. "Thought you didn't lose Lahela?" she taunted as she cleared away their rubbish the other pairs carrying on but slowly following suit and with one of them losing, whilst the other sat smugly opposite them as they victoriously finished the mallows in their mouth. Aurora brought over some glasses of water to wash the taste down.

After this, everyone sort of grouped off to talk more privately amongst each other. Casey heading to her room to decompress and recharge her batteries from being around so many people. She was laying on her bed looking out of her window when there was a knock at the door. "No thank you" she called out, but the person knocked again. "I said no thank you" she repeated sounding drained and the knock sounded again so with a sigh she got up and crossed the room and answered the door, Ethan stepping inside. She rolled her eyes involuntarily as she shut the door and climbed back onto her bed as Ethan took a seat in her chair. "Are you okay?" He asked concerned, "I'm fine. Why?" Casey asked back staring out the window. "I'm just making sure because you do this sneaking off to be alone thing a lot." He said "Well. I have anxiety and mild depression. Being around people all the time drains me okay?" she blurted out, panic raising in her facial expression as she realised what she just said, and she shrunk back into her covers as Ethan stood up and moved closer. He sat next to her and placed a comforting hand on her arm, smiling gently as she looked at him. She felt safe and unjudged with him and moved and gave him a hug which he returned and squeezed tight. They cuddled up together for a while just looking out the window as Ethan allowed Casey to listen to his heartbeat before another knock sounded at her door. "Casey! We're setting up for truth or drink!" Rafael's voice shouted through the door. "Be there in a minute!" she called back as she sat up taking a deep breath. "Let's go back out there" she smiled at Ethan as she got up. He followed suit and they headed back to the living room.

Back in the living room Everyone was seated somewhere, ready with drinks as Casey and Ethan took the last two available spots. Jackie giving them each a bottle of beer and they started the game. They went round the circle taking it in turns to ask truths or take sips from their drinks. Soon it was Jackie's turn to ask a question again. "Oooo okay...... Truth or drink. I have a crush on the person to my right. Tell the truth or drink to keep it quiet guys." She smirked, everyone but Ethan drinking straight away. "Wait... Dr. Ramsey?!" Sienna exclaimed as she looked over at him then to Casey sitting next to him. They looked at each other and shrugged, Ethan made the move as he pressed a kiss to Casey's lips, which she returned. "ooooooo boy! Maybe we should turn this into spin the bottle" Bryce commented as he drained the last of his drink and held up the empty bottle with a grin. Jackie took the bottle and placed it on it's side and they continued on with a game of spin the bottle, before swiftly moving on to karaoke. Aurora finished up her song and handed the mic back to Elijah, who looked around the room locking eyes with Ethan. "You're the last one Doc. Finish this night off on a good note for us" He grinned holding out the mic "Oh no. I couldn't. I'd make your ears bleed" he chuckled as he waved his hands. "Come on Ethan! We won't judge youuuuu" Jackie teased a little, "Yeah. I bet your voice is music to a drunk mans ears Ramsey. Don't be so shy" Rafael said as he clapped his shoulder heartedly. Sighing, Ethan got to his feet and positioned himself, looking stiff and rigid from the nerves that were taking over his body, Casey scooted closer and held his hand, squeezing tightly as the opening note for the song, Modern Loneliness played. As he sang further into the song Casey stood up and side hugged him, swaying with him. Everyone joined in the second time the chorus came round, which eased Ethan's nervousness a bit and he started swaying with Casey more freely, smiling and chuckling, spinning her around feeling the happiest he had felt in a while. As the song came to the end everyone gathered round him, joining the hug, making him tear up at the love he was feeling in the moment. They all stood for a while in a comfortable silence as they cuddled together. Suddenly the doorbell startled them. "Pizza's here." Someone mumbled, "I got it." Casey said quietly as she slid out of the hug and answered the door, giving the delivery guy a tip and bringing it in, placing it on the dinner table. Everyone gathered round the table and tucked into the meal, laughing and chatting quietly together, as the night wound down. Eventually Bryce and Rafael left to head home and everyone else headed to their rooms for the night, but Ethan lingered in the living room as Casey cleared away the rubbish. "You staying?" she asked him, he thought and nodded. She passed him a trash bag with a smile "Bottle clean up then." she said.

That night after showering Ethan and Casey were lying next to each other in her bed as they looked out the window again, falling asleep to the sound of each other's heartbeats and gentle breaths.
