Disclaimer: Before I start the 3rd part of this mini-series I would just like to let you know that part of my plot, which is Casey and Ethan being stalked back to his apartment from work, is similar to a plot in a story by someone that I consider a good friend. I would like to make it clear that I approached this person through direct messaging before continuing with this, to get their permission for it to be okay for me to use this as part of my storyline. Both of our works are completely original and authentic to ourselves as authors. Please refrain from send either of us hate for this, as I would like to just let you know that we are not copying each other. It is hard to find a 100% original plot for fanfiction/general fiction work when you have to work with characters that are in the position that ours are in with Ethan, and I have tried my best to make it a different from my friend's plot for her story as I can but there will obviously be similarities due to there, only being a few ways that you can write a storyline for people being stalked. Once again I would just like to let you know we are not copying one another, and I do have this person's permission to go ahead with my storyline as I have it planned out.
Hugs & Kisses,

Casey's eyes fluttered open the next morning and she sat up as she looked up at the sunlight, stretching out her limbs as she yawned. "Good Morning, gorgeous." a familiar voice sounded from beside her, she turned her head to be met with Ethan's blue eyes, full of softness and love. She let out a small sigh before replying "Morning, Eth- wait." She pulled the covers back and saw she was in her pyjamas but then sat up in alarm looking around the bedroom she was in. "Where? What?" she started to panic that something had happened, but Ethan quickly calmed her nerves. "Hey, Casey? It's okay. We had a little fast food date last night after work, you just crashed here because it was late." He explained, "How late?" she asked. "Almost 2am late." He smiled softly before taking a deep breath to continue, "There's plenty of hot water, I've washed and dried the clothes you wore yesterday so they're fresh. Get yourself ready, we've got to get going. I want to re-run a few tests on your brother today. Something was off about those last results." Ethan trailed off as he finished speaking before giving Casey a reassuring smile. After a warm, refreshing shower Casey met Ethan by the door of his apartment and together the two made their way to work, separating at the main doors as Casey went off to check on her patients on the 5th floor. Later in the afternoon, Ethan paged Casey to come to the diagnostics office, stating it was urgent. She was on her lunch break and pouring over a textbook but snapped it shut, returning her stuff to her locker before rushing to the office as fast as she could. Upon stepping inside she was greeted with the sight of 2 slightly smiling men looking at her. "You paged? Dr. Ramsey..." she said as she got herself a glass of water. "Yes. Please, take a seat" he smiled politely as Casey came back to the table and took a seat next to Baz, hurt glazing over Ethan's features for a brief moment before he hid it behind the mask of professionalism he always wore. "So... as you are aware I reordered some tests to be done on your brother and was correct. There was something wrong with the results we previously received." He informed and Casey choked on her sip of water. "Sorry. Wh-what do you mean? Are things somehow worse?" she asked her eyebrows knitting together as worry etched it's way onto her face. Ethan shook his head as he put his glasses on and pulled out some paperwork, sliding it across to her. "It's better. His cancer is only at Stage 2. And if you look further into the analysis you can see that it's only recent this has occurred. Even better, it seems to only have spread to 3 of the retroperitoneum lymph nodes and none are larger than 5cms. Meaning-" he said but Casey jumped up with joy. "That means we can remove the testicle and the nodes, keep him here to recover before and receive the appropriate treatment before setting him up with a follow up appointment. Sending him home. And... And he's going to be okay. Oh God! He's going to be okay! And it's all thanks to-" she ranted happiness overcoming her so much, so she rushed to Ethan and pulled him out of his chair and into a tight hug, closing her eyes as the tears built up in them spilled out. "Thank you so much, Ethan. This means everything." She mumbled into his shoulder. Shocked by her action Ethan looked to Baz who motioned for him to hug her back, slowly he wrapped his arms around her frame and whispered into her ear, "It was no problem. Just a gut feeling I followed."
