4 - A Misunderstanding

As Y/N entered inside the house. Her sister, Anna started to block her way.

"Anna...come on I want to feel my bed again..." Y/N said looking tired.

"Explain to me first! I saw Kioshi kissing your cheek! Don't tell me you two started dating!?" Anna said. Her mother and father also came in.

"We saw what happened sweetie, mind explaining?" Her mother said looking a bit disappointed. "First of all, I'm not dating anyone! Second, I didn't know Kioshi was going to kiss my cheek! Third, why are you guys spying on me!?" Y/N barked.

"Oh right...I remember! Kioshi is really a flirt and also popular!" Anna said to her parents.

"Flirt...? Y/N, you should be careful, I heard flirty boys used to break girls' hearts" Her mother said.

"Maybe because they never experienced true love, maybe because they haven't found the right person to change them," Y/N said. "I want to rest. Please don't disturb me..." Y/N said to them and went upstairs to her room.

Next week, Y/N went to the entrance and she was mad. Students (mostly girls) kept looking at her and started whispering at their friends. Y/N knew she was the topic. She was used being the topic but this time, it was gone too far. Girls started laughing at her, boys were whistling seductively at her and teachers were looking at her. She felt uncomfortable and that's when she saw girls swarming at Kioshi again. Y/N caught Kioshi looking at her asking for help. She approached them and took Kioshi away from the girls going somewhere away from everyone.

"I didn't expect this happening but rumors spread so fast" Kioshi said. He saw the sadness in her eyes. "Look...I should've asked a guy to come with me, not you. I hate myself from making you get involved with me and my problems" He said.

"No...it's alright." Y/N said. "We should tell Yara the truth-" Y/N was interrupted from Yara approaching them. "So it's true that you two are dating, look at you being alone together," She said and glared at Y/N.

"Listen! I lied! We aren't dating! You were too close to Kioshi that you made him uncomfortable!" Y/N said.

"Uncomfortable!? Kioshi would never feel that when I'm with him!" Yara said glaring more to Y/N.

"Why don't you ask him!?" Y/N said and pushed Kioshi at her. "Tell him Kioshi!" She said. Yara looked at Kioshi with hurt. "No...I don't...feel uncomfortable with Yara..." He said.

Y/N felt like knives pierced her heart. She thought Kioshi was her friend but he lied to Yara. Yara smirked and pulled Kioshi's arm to her "Well then, who's the liar now?" She asked.

Kioshi felt bad for lying, he didn't want to hurt a girl's feelings. Y/N's face darkened. "Probably I did lie..." Y/N sneered and left the two alone.

"Y/N wait!-" But Yara already pulled him away to her friends. Kioshi only saw Y/N looking at him with hatred.

Y/N felt she was about to cry and she started looking for Anna. She gave Anna a hug and hid her face on her chest. "Y/N, what's wrong?" Anna said looking worried for her. Y/N explained to her everything.

"I thought I finally have a friend that I could trust but he just...lied and told Yara I was the one who's lying yet he said that during our hangout!" Y/N said punching a wall near her. The others started staying away from her.

"Calm down, hurting yourself physically is not good. Like I told you, he is a flirt and he may just trick you" Anna said. Y/N calmed down and frowned. "I'm going to my classroom now, I have nothing to do so I'll just watch Anime until the class start," Y/N said and walked off.

Y/N walked to the hallway and Hachiro spotted her. He approached her and saw her gloomy face.

"Y/N? Are you alright?" He asked. Y/N faced him. "Oh, it's you," She said. "No, I'm not fine at all"

"I heard...you and Kioshi-" Hachiro was interrupted by Y/N's glare. "No, we are not dating! Yet, I hate him so why the hell would I date him!?" Y/N said crossing her arms.

"But they said you two were-" He was interrupted again. Which irritated him. "Yes, we did go to the mall as friends but he betrayed me," Y/N said.

"I don't know how to help you but here, at least eat it if you feel sad...my mom used to give me these for comfort," He said opening her palm and gave her a candy. Y/N smiled "Thanks Hachiro," She said.

Daichi started running on the hall to talk to Y/N. He lost his breath while leaning on a wall. "Y/N! Bad news!" He said with worry. "What bad news...?" Y/N asked. "Yara told my classmates that you two and Kioshi fought! If Kioshi left the club, our club might get disbanded!" He said.

"Daichi...I know that both of us were excited about this club but...it's fine if it got disbanded that fast...No one even wants to join the club." Y/N said.

"I can't believe that guy did this to you Y/N, he already betrayed you next he is gonna make our club disband!" Daichi said glaring at Kioshi as he passed by with girls hovering him.

Y/N didn't even bother to glare at Kioshi and she just thinks that he wasn't even there.

Hachiro purposely tripped Kioshi and he tasted the cold floor. "Oh my! Are you okay Kioshi?" One of the girls said and helped him got up.

The bell rang and the trio split up to their classes. Y/N was annoyed that she was with Kioshi in class. He kept glancing at her while she looked away.

As soon as classes ended. He managed to talk to Yara. "So Kioshi~ are you free tomorrow? We can go get lunch together~" she said while she grabbed his arm. "Yara, we need to talk".

"You sound serious...what is it?" Yara asked. "Y/N said was true... I'm really uncomfortable with you...I just don't want to hurt your feelings." He said.

Yara looked hurt. "I'm sorry if I was a bother to you..." she dramatically left him with tears. Kioshi felt bad for her but he ignored it and looked for Y/N.

Y/N was at the entrance with Anna, about to leave until Kioshi shouted her name. Y/N turned around and immediately looked away grabbing her sister's arm. Kioshi grabbed her other arm forcing her to stop.

"What do you want with my sister? You already betrayed and you wanted to talk with her?" Anna sneered.

"It's fine Anna, you go ahead," Y/N said releasing Anna's arm. "Fine but if that stinking boy hurt you again, call me and I'll knock his balls," She said and left the school.

"Y/N...I wanted to apologize to you" Kioshi said. "Apology isn't enough," Y/N said. "You just gave me more doubt of having a friend". She said as she shook her arm away from his grasp.

"I know...but I told Yara and the others the truth...I just...dodon't want to hurt people's feelings..." He said. "You can leave if you want...I just want to apologize" He said waiting for her to turn around and leave but Y/N stood there looking at his eyes if he's telling the truth or not.

"...I'll forgive you but you have to tell them what you feel or else you would feel uncomfortable forever. I know that it will hurt their feelings but at least they know how to treat you when you meet them again" Y/N said.

Kioshi stared at her eye color eyes as he started leaning to her. Y/N stopped him by covering his lips. "If you are trying to kiss me again then you won't get it. We just met two weeks ago and you already felt like you can kiss me whenever you want" Y/N said. Kioshi chuckled "Alright" then he hugged her. "Thanks for understanding my situation Y/N, it means a lot," He said.

Y/N felt her cheeks reddened. She pushed Kioshi away and left. Kioshi watched her as she leaves smiling like an idiot.

"If you think you can be her friend again then prove it. You know what happens if you hurt her again" Kioshi turned around and Hachiro was behind him. Kioshi smirked. "Oh, so a bad boy cares for a girl? Interesting" He said and both of them left.
