29 - Hopeless and Weak

Anna ran away from the others, tears coming out of her eyes. She ignored the shouts from the others. She needs to calm down a little and be alone.

Feeling defeated. Anna felt disgusted smelling different kinds of food that the students threw at her. Taking off her greasy shoes, she walked around the unknown place far from the dance. She took her handkerchief and wiped away the stains on her newly bought dress. Completely ruined, she wondered how will her parents react if they saw her like this.

She took her phone and contacted the person she missed. She placed it on her ear waiting for them to pick up.

"Hello? Anna, I thought you were on the Christmas dance right now. Why did you call?" Kristoff asked. Anna felt relieved hearing his voice. She wiped away her tears and cleared her voice.

"I am...but sudden things happened...I want to hear your voice right now. I'm sorry if I bothered you..." Anna said sitting down in front of the lake. She watched the squirrel eating a nut from a branch of a tree.

"It's alright, I was doing my project but you matter more to me, did something happened?" He asked.

Anna explained everything to him. Himari lied to everyone about it and Anna told him she felt defeated. She asked if she can handle this school year. Kristoff felt bad to hear her stressed out.

"Anna...I know you can do it. Himari is really...crazy to be honest but I will make sure the truth comes out." He said. Anna smiled but confused at the same time. How can he tell them the truth if he isn't at the state where she's in?

"Alright...can we talk a bit more? I just need some time to calm down after what happened..." Anna said. Kristoff agreed and the two shared a long conversation.

After, Akari found Anna on the phone at the lake. She gently touched her shoulder not to startle her. Anna looked at Akari and smiled softly.

"Kristoff, I have to go now...Akari found me...It was great talking to you again. Goodnight." Anna said.

Kristoff smirked. "Goodnight to you too love." He said causing Anna to get flustered and red. Anna was about to speak but Kristoff already hung up. Anna crossed her arms and pouted. Akari innocently smiled pretending she didn't hear anything.

"Feeling better? I know Kristoff is the one who makes you feel at ease." She said. Anna rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Yeah, he really makes me happy. I just wish he was here to hold me and tell everything is just a dream." Anna said sighing in despair. "But why does it look like he knew what happened? After I told him, he wasn't shocked or surprised." Anna said.

"About that..." Akari laughed nervously. "I told him already, I thought he might help you after what happened." She said. Anna smiled and hugged him tightly.

"I'm really glad to have a friend like you Akari," Anna said.

Akari snorted. "Of course you should be glad, I thought you might get mad if I tell Kristoff first than you. You get pretty jealous whenever one of us talks to him." Akari said.

"Hehe, I know I'm quite easy to get jealous but I'm not mad. I'm relieved to have someone care for me." Anna said.

"Let's go, those boys were arguing that none of them saw you left," Akari said and pulled Anna back to the others.

Leo left to fix his messy suit so Y/N was alone looking for Anna.

"If I were those boys...where would I hide my sister?" Y/N asked. She looked everywhere. The boys must've hidden her very far away. She went to the other side only to be blocked by Nanae, Himari, Ichika, and Asami.

"What do you want?" Y/N asked. They didn't answer. Nanae and she looked to each other with a death glare on their faces. It felt like Y/N was in the top 10 Anime Epic Fights. Nanae approached her first and grabbed her hair.

"What do I want? I want you to stop existing." Nanae said with a smirk. "I can't help but tell you that everyone is now your enemies. Good luck getting bullied A LOT at school." She said.

Himari grabbed the other side of her hair while Ichika slapped her. Asami grabbed a pair of scissors to destroy Y/N's dress.

It was merciless. The mean girls hurt her by destroying her dress, her makeup, and her hair. Y/N was lucky her hair wasn't cut or else she will unleash the beast inside her and claw them all. Probably might get expelled.

Y/N was left alone crying, too weak to stand up. She tried reaching on her phone but it was far away from her reach. She sat there hopeless that no one will find her in this area. The boys and Anna and Akari must've already left and waited for her.

"Why am I so useless...I'm always not good enough to others...now they all hate me because of those damn ugly monkeys." Y/N murmured.

A few minutes later, Y/N felt two arms carried her. She opened her eyes and saw a hint of red. It must be Hachiro. Seeing all of her friends again...she doesn't feel weak or useless. She finally has friends that she can count on. Y/N mumbled that Hachiro can only hear.
