20 - Rejection

Daichi and Asami continued to hang out and that made Y/N annoyed. Y/N started feeling jealous. Daichi hasn't been attending the meetings of the club they made. Kioshi was starting to get mad as well.

"Daichi isn't coming! He's busy with that girl! Let him be!" Kioshi said that was almost a shout that startled Y/N and Hachiro. Y/N looked down feeling the jealousy come to her again.

Anna slumped her shoulders. "If he isn't coming to our meetings, there's no choice but to kick him out. In the rules say that if one member from a club hasn't been attending meetings, they must kick them out" She said.

"Fine..." Y/N sighed with annoyance. "If he didn't attend tomorrow, I...we must kick him out. It's been days since he hasn't come" She said.

The group agreed with the plan and separated after the meeting is done.

Kioshi was walking back to his classroom when he saw Daichi. He looked exhausted and he saw Kioshi as well. Kioshi gave him a death glare and purposely bumped him. Daichi looked confused but he just ignored it probably because Kioshi hates him.

Then Daichi saw Anna. Anna saw him too and Daichi waved at her. Anna rolled her eyes and left.

"Okay...is it me or is everyone weird today..." He mumbled to himself and walked away.

Daichi went to the entrance to go back home but he spotted Y/N. She must be waiting for her sister Anna. Daichi had a chance to talk to her but he saw the way Y/N looked at him.

"Hi Y/N-" Y/N turned her back to not face Daichi. She didn't even talk as well.

Daichi sighed. "Y/N, I know that I've been busy lately but-" Anna came and pulled Y/N. "Come on sis lets go"

"Can you two at least tell me why you are acting like this!" Daichi asked. He felt sad to see Y/N ignore him and her sister to glare at him.

"Its...nothing..." Y/N mumbled that Daichi can hear and left with her sister. Daichi felt sadder to hear that.

The next day, it was still the same, Y/N and the others ignored Daichi. Daichi started to feel anxious that Y/N might tell him to stop being friends with her. Daichi felt heartbroken if he heard that, not to mention they did kiss before.

After classes, sanity time has come and students started cleaning up. Daichi went to Asami's classroom and called her.

"Asami!" Daichi said that took the attention of the other students. They whispered to Asami and giggled. Asami blushed and shyly approached him.

"Hi Dai Dai! Is there something you need to say?" Asami asked. Daichi was annoyed at her for acting shy. Asami looked at him with loving eyes waiting for him to speak.

"Can we talk privately?" He asked as he saw the girls pretending not to eavesdrop. Asami felt her heart skipped a beat as she walked outside the classroom.

"Do you want to say something...?" Asami asked acting shyer. She even looked like she was waiting for him to confess his feelings.

Daichi sighed. "Asami...can we stop having hangouts for a while?" He said that surprised Asami. "Y/N has been avoiding me and I need to talk to her or she and I won't be friends anymore," He said.

Asami felt heartbroken that it wasn't a confession. She had enough with Y/N so she did what she had to do.

"Daichi...I love you!" Asami shouted. They were alone so Asami can shout her love to him. Daichi almost felt sad that he has no feelings for her.

"I love you since I met you! You were so handsome and kind that you took away my heart! I wanted to know you better so I can do everything you want when we are together! I wanted to spend some time with you because you have been busy with Y/N all the time! And it's making me jealous!" Asami said.

"Asami..." Daichi sighed "I'm sorry but I don't feel the same way...I only think of you as a friend" He said.

Asami felt tears coming from her eyes as she heard that she was only a friend to him. She clenched her fists and looked at him straight in the eyes.

"It's because you like Y/N isn't it!? I saw the way you look at her all the time!" Asami said.

Daichi nodded "Yes...I like...no...I love Y/N...i'm sorry Asami" He said.

"And you two even kissed..." Asami mumbled.

"How did you know that!?" Daichi asked shocked to hear that someone except for Kioshi knew about it.

"Y/N told me," Asami said. "How can you trust someone who tells almost everything?" Asami laughed nervously.

"Asami, I don't care if that was known by everyone...I'm sorry Asami but I don't feel the same way..." Daichi said and started walking away.

Except Asami pulled his sleeve and tried to kiss him. Since Daichi has quick moves, he pushed Asami away before their lips touched.

They heard someone gasped and they turned to the direction where the noise came from. Daichi widens his eyes after seeing Y/N with a mop on her hands.
