Spotlight - A Percabeth Fanfiction

Percy POV:

"But we're fine now. It's mostly a long distance problem thing, and we made up before." I heard the familiar voice of Calypso.

I checked the watch, 15 minutes late. Why did I let Jason ride with me? Says his car needs some repairs. He has 6 cars! If I didn't know better, I'd say he was lonely.

I scanned the room. Producers and a couple of stage hands were running around. A couple of girls were talking together. I recognized Calypso as one of them. No other guys were here yet. Phew. We weren't the last.

"First day and you're late, huh?" I see my manager, Ace walk to me, with a smirk and a slight hint of disapproval on his face. He drove with Jason's manager, because Jason insisted. "Can't say I'm surprised. Now where's Jason?" Ace walks away, looking for Jason, probably to give him a proper scolding.

"Hey, Percy Jackson, I presume? I'm Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Friends call me Rach. Fans call me RED." A red haired girl says to me with a friendly smile.

"Uh, hi. I'm Percy, but you already know that." I answered, shaking her hand.

We spent the first hours talking to each other, when the director gathered us around and told us to introduce ourselves to each other.

We sat in a circle. Everyone was there by now. I checked our seating. Rachel had her chair beside mine, and my cousin, Nico's, boyfriend, Will Solace, sat beside me. Jason wasn't sitting far from me, but I noticed he was talking to Leo Valdez.

Will and I chatted for a while, until the director told us to start introducing ourselves.

(I'm obviously not gonna do everyone)

"I'm Reyna, and I'll be playing as an antagonist." A girl with a braided dark brown hair. She looked quite intimidating.

"I'm Drew. I'm one of the secondary characters." An Asian girl said, rolling her eyes. What's her deal?

This went on until a girl with, blonde princess curls spoke. "I'm Annabeth-", a high pitched, rather "girly" squeal rang out the room.

I turned to look at Jason and Leo who had tears in their eyes. The two were looking at Annabeth in pure admiration. "Sorry, continue." Jason said, failing to hide their exciting.

Giggles spread through the room. Annabeth continued, "Right, so I'm Annabeth Chase, I'm playing the female lead."

Everyone had their turns, we did everything we had to for the day. It quickly finished.

As I was walking out, I bumped into someone. We both fell into the ground. I get up quickly and stretch out my arm. I look to see Annabeth there. She was looking at me with red cheeks.

"Are you okay?" I asked, really worried that she got hurt somewhere. "I, uh...yeah." She said, and let me help her up. "Sorry, I wasn't looking." I said, a sheepish grin on my face. "No, it's fine." She said, smiling.

That was when I noticed more of her features. Gray eyes. They looked serious, calm, intelligent, and intimidating. Her hair looked soft, smooth, and something that would come from a shampoo ad. She was drop dead gorgeous.

"See you next time." I said, smiling. She just nodded and smiles back at me. She seems friendly. I already can't wait for the next time I'll see her.
