After such a long time of not having gone to Seonghwa's house, it felt great to be back and see the two persons who have developed a caring for Hyosonn. She was always part of the family, even if it took a while for her to realize it.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my dear. We'd missed you very much, and I am so happy to have you as a daughter-in-law. I see the change in Seonghwa, and it is due to you," Heeyoung says with a joyous grin and engulfed Hyosonn into a strong embrace.

"I missed you, too. Terribly so," she murmurs with a smile, hugging her for almost fifteen seconds.

"I can finally say that my dear Hwa brought home a true girlfriend. It feels great to say," Heeyoung laughed, and Seonghwa was blushing with an amused grin. He hugs her, too, and kisses her forehead.

"It sounds weird, doesn't it?" he chuckled, now giving Hyosonn a peck on the cheek before he goes to his bedroom and took his backpack into his bedroom. She laughed in response.

"Yes, but I am so euphoric right now." His aunt squeezed her shoulder for a moment before she's about to go into the kitchen.

"I am going to say hi to Grandma Dae Eun." Hyosonn mentions, and Heeyoung had a strange look afterwards.

"Sure, but just for a little while, she's been feeling a little ill these past few days. The medicine she's taking makes her a bit sleepy, so if she falls asleep while speaking, it's normal," Heeyoung tells her, and adds jokingly, "You can see Seonghwa's room afterwards, since it's actually not messy today."

Hyosonn nods, cheeks burning, then Heeyoung goes into the kitchen.

Quietly entering the shared room, Hyosonn saw a somewhat weaker Dae Eun than when she'd first met her. It's as if she'd aged double since the last time Hyosonn had seen her. But Dae Eun acknowledged her presence, and a wide smile appeared on her sweet face.

Hyosonn bowed respectfully and gave her a bright grin in return, walking closer to her bedside.

"Hello, dear. I'd missed having you here, Hyosonn. What a delight to see you again," Dae Eun says in a slightly fatigued voice, taking Hyosonn's hands inside hers and the strength she'd squeezed them when they'd eaten together wasn't present now.

It was concerning Hyosonn, and worry overcame her. But she managed to maintain a calm appearance, smiling affectionately and bent down to gently kiss her forehead.

"I missed you so much, too, halmeoni-ah. But now I won't be absent for so long anymore, I promise," she assured, sitting in the corner of the mattress near Dae Eun.

"Did my grandson finally come to his senses??" Dae Eun chuckled softly, her dark eyes reflecting that she knew enough of what had been occurring between Hyosonn and Seonghwa.

Hyosonn grinned warmly. "Yes, you could say that."

The joy which radiated from the woman's tired face, brightened her entire complexion and you almost couldn't notice the signs of looking ill, her eyes also seemed to become moist.

She reached for Hyosonn's hand, and held it inside hers, gazing fixatedly at the girl with affection.

"Dear Hyosonn, my heart feels relief that I will not leave this world without first seeing that my grandson finally found a young lady who cares unconditionally for him. Who's earned the little trust he didn't have before he met you. I know he can be difficult, but he has the purest and warmest heart. "You're a strong girl, Hyosonn, because you were able to break through those walls he'd created because of his fears in being hurt and abandoned, the way his mother did. Thank you so much for that," Dae Eun says in deep gratitude, sounding choked up.
