Another school year commenced in Myungshin High School, where the endless free time of the summer has disappeared. Even if Kang Hyo Sonn spent a lot of it studying medical subjects to have a head start for when she heads off to university, and goes study to become a doctor. Her dad would've been so proud of her, if he knew that this career choice was inspired by him.

Of course, she also enjoyed the summertime with one of her best friends, Jeong Yunho, on every chance they had to do so. Her second best friend Song Mun Hee, had gone to Japan for the short vacations, so Hyo Sonn saw her on this first day of school as juniors of eleventh grade now.

"Tokyo was amazing. Especially at night, and I even made friends over there. They're really cool," Mun Hee was telling her two best friends.

"I think I'm going to get jealous. I bet they aren't cooler than us. Especially me," Yunho mentions with his adorable pout, leaning back on his school bag at the courtyard, still feeling groggy from getting up early after a month of waking at twelve in the afternoon.

"Obviously not, dude. We know each other since we learned how to write our names," Mun Hee assured him, grinning with amusement.

"Yeah, because we're irreplaceable." Hyo Sonn says, winking.

"I missed you, guys. What I don't miss is that I have math starting in the morning. Ugh, why couldn't it at least be when my brain cells actually wake up," Mun Hee sighed miserably.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. I have been blessed with many classes together with Sonn, to annoy her a lot," Yunho joked, poking Hyo Sonn on the ankle with a plastic straw from his iced coffee he'd been drinking earlier.

"Aish, stop that. I love you, but I will smack you in the back of the head if you get too silly in the classroom," she warned, pulling back her leg with a scowl.

Yunho just giggled freely, used to her false threats by now. She never follows through with them.

"Ah, but do you know who is approaching us right now? The famous Kim Ha Joon," Mun Hee informed, signaling in front of her, at a familiar figure several feet in distance moving with his confident and arrogant stride. The person who many girls in Myungshin melt over him.

He's been asking Hyo Sonn out ever since she made the cheerleading team, and even before that he'd be throwing flirty comments her way.

A guy who was born with a silver platter on his lap. His father is CEO of a huge business company, and his mother has her own business in wedding planning. So, Ha Joon is surrounded by numerous sports cars and luxurious ones, servants that attend to every command he gives them. His personality is the grandest, too. The typical rich boy with an enviable complexion that gets any girl who he flirts with, has his own Corvette to take them out. The way he walks reflects how he thinks the whole world should bow at his feet. The type that Hyo Sonn always detested. There are sons whose parents have a huge sum of money, who aren't arrogant and self-centered, but Kim Ha Joon wasn't one of those, that's for sure.

"Damn it, he doesn't even wait for the bell to ring. It's too early to disturb the good mood I started my morning with," Hyo Sonn groans, scowling deeply as the twelfth grader flashes his megawatt, perfect teeth grin showing his clear intentions of what he's looking to do at this moment.

Yunho stares in disgust, pretending to gag as if he'll throw up. He can't stand the jerk who has girls falling to Ha Joon's feet.

As soon as the disturbance has gotten close enough, he gives Hyo Sonn another flirty grin.

"My, how my morning just became much better, seeing the pretty angel Kang Hyo Sonn. Did you miss me in the summer?" Ha Joon asks with his signature smirk that's supposed to flip hearts, but Hyo Sonn has been immune for a very long time now.
