Some more days passed by, and it's a Monday after school where Hyosonn was at Munhee's house with Yunho, studying for upcoming final exams of this first school semester. He hated it, but he doesn't want to fail.

Besides, at least Hyosonn is a great tutor and has saved him many times in their school years. Munhee said that Seonghwa could've come, too, but he wasn't able to since he's passing the last days his grandmother had, which is understandable.

"Okay, this is like damn pig latin or alien language! How do you actually understand this crap, Sonn-ah??" Yunho whined for about the thousandth time today, frustrated with the complex equations in mathematics.

Munhee snickered, handing him a Snickers bar. "Eat a Snickers, you'll probably receive revelations to understand and stop complaining," she teased, and he scowls at her but snatches the chocolate bar.

Hyosonn smirks as he opens the wrapper and takes an exaggerated bite out of it.

"Better?" she and Munhee say at the same time and burst out giggling.

"No, but this tastes awesome," Yunho muttered, chewing while he stared at the exercise workbook.

"You almost have it, don't get frustrated, Yunni-ah," Hyosonn murmurs, purposely calling him by the nickname she'd given him when they were very little. It helped somewhat because he managed to smile at her.

During the slow explanation she's telling him, the phone interrupts them and slightly startles her.

She grabbed the phone off the dinner table and sees Seonghwa's photo identifying the caller. "Oh, it's oppa. I should take this."

"Yeah, go ahead, it'll give my brain cells a break." Yunho chuckles, and she answered the call.

"Seo-" Hyosonn was starting to say, and Seonghwa's voice is almost in hysteria.

"She's leaving us!"

She gasped, replied quickly. "What?!"

Hyosonn knew sooner or later the dreaded day would come, but was still terrible and heartbreaking.

"Please come, Sonn, I-I need you here. Hurry!" Seonghwa begged frantically, choking on his tears.

"I'll be right there, babe. Promise," she replied quickly, and they end the call.
She glances to her friends. "Guys, I have to-"

"Go, Sonn, it's okay. The guy needs you more than ever right now." Yunho says, and Munhee nods.

"Leave your stuff here, I'll bring it to your house later," she assures her.

"Thanks guys!" Hyosonn choked, hastily taking her backpack that has her car keys in the side pocket.

Tears blurred her vision as she raced down the street in direction of Seonghwa's neighborhood, knowing the last minutes of life for Dae Eun were here.

She speedily parked the car behind his Mustang, pouncing out and frantically locking the door before running to the small gate and yanks the open door of the house, identifying Heeyoung in the hallway weeping against the wall.

"He-he's inside, Sonn," she tells Hyosonn when she notices her approach. "It's time..."

"Oh my gosh," Hyosonn breathes, squeezing her arm as she hurries by her and entered the bedroom, Nurse Choi closely monitored Dae Eun whose breathing was rattling. This meant she's truly about to go. Seonghwa held her hand, sobbing at her bedside.

Hyosonn went to where he sat in a chair, rubbing his back in circular motions.

"Miss Park was waiting for you, dear. She doesn't want to go before saying goodbye," Nurse Choi mentions, and Hyosonn sucked in air, swallowing a sob. Then she took a seat at the edge of the bed, gazing sadly down at Park Dae Eun.
