This is the story of a girl who struggles with all the normal struggles of life in middle school. She is by no means normal, let me introduce her. This is Eliza East, an 11 year old girl. She has 7 siblings: Benji, a 16 year old who is an aspiring author. Kiera, a 15 year old with guys chasing her left and right. Then Eliza, an introverted, awkward, Sarcastic girl with no real social life. Lia, a 10 year old who wants to be an artist and loves showing off her talents and giving people drawings that she makes. Cilia, an 8 year old drama queen who acts like a moody teenager. Josh, a 7 year old kid who is literally the sweetest kid when he isn't being Cilia's minion. Sammy, a 5 year old who changes interests every Christmas when he receives a new gift and makes it the main point of his life until the end of the year when he changes it again. Danny, a 3 year old dare devil who apparently has no fears (He's been in the E.R. more than once).
And her parents: Tamara, 38 year old preschool teacher who is extremely underpaid for all the amazing work she does for the school. She stays up late most nights doing something to improve their learning experience and she cares deeply for each kid. Scott, a 39 year old man who still doesn't know what he wants to do when he grows up. He currently works at a graveyard landscaping and digging graves for a living. He uses most of his paycheck on Fish however, so basically he doesn't have a living he has a bunch of animals that he feeds.
Eliza's family lives in a small town in Kansas, in the corner of town, in a neighborhood where there are no children except for them. They are a tight knit family though so they don't really need neighbors that they can talk to.
Now, before the story continues I need to explain to you Eliza's class and classmates. There are twelve of them in all: Hannah, a girl who switches friend groups if she stops having power in the one she is in. Simon, a boy who loves science and has a current feud with Eliza. Allen, a kid who is obsessed with video games and talks about little else. Audrey, a girl who is the fakest friend ever but yet almost everyone is still friends with her. Marina, there are no words to describe Marina just know that she is a work of art. Alex, a wonderful basketball player who is an all around good kid and best friends with Simon. Evan, one of Allen's friends and doesn't talk much in class because he knows how dirty his mind is and knows the teachers won't appreciate his comments. Syd, Eliza's best friend, a total sweetheart, fits into any social group. (Eliza is here in alphabetical order but we don't need to talk about her again yet) Daden, an annoying bully who doesn't respect authority and is also friends with Allen.Well, I think that raps it up for this chapter of the story. I gave you all this info so that you would understand Eliza's feelings towards the characters (since this is how she thinks of them). I have thought in depth about this story and that is why I have so much for you in this epilogue. I might update it a little bit throughout the story but this should be good for now.
Bye bye for now my fellow bookworms,
