[ Chapter 2 ]

Everyone was woken up with the help of the blaring alarm set by Head of M.A.D through the big speakers. They took turns to wash up and gathered for breakfast. While others are eating, Sydney and Genesis wandered around the room to find for any weapons or supplies for their upcoming missions. After going through a bunch of boxes in the back room, they found two boxes of useful items to keep them alive. With a note attached to it.

Use them well, these are for the team. For Genesis and Knox, your main weapons are with you.

Genesis: Guys, gather round quick.

Sydney: We've found some weapons and supplies for all of us. They don't exactly look like weapons to me though (looking into the box). Genesis? It says that yours and Knox's main weapon are with you guys?

Genesis: I can't seem to find- (Looking around herself)

Knox: It's on your arm idiot, did you not realize it since we had woken up.

Genesis: Jeez, calm down. (Rolls her eye at him)

Knox: Keep rolling your eyes and it will be stuck there. (Smirks)

Genesis: Sure. (Rolls her eye again)

No one knew what to say to the both of them, Knox noticed his team members face and stopped smirking followed by an awkward cough. 

Ocean: You guys are bickering even before we start our journey, calm down man.

Genesis: (chuckles)

Lincoln: What weapons do we have? 

Sydney: Well we have some metal tubes thingy with buttons? (confused) 

Lynx: How are we suppose to fight those things with these...

Knox: It's a RS-21.

Emrys: The heck is that?

Ocean: (Confused face) 

Lincoln: How would you know that? 

Knox: I just know. (Slightly irritated)   

Genesis: (Nudged Knox softly) It's a weapon that accommodates to your skills in combat, it would transform to different things as you progress. It uses voice recognition to activate it, remember to only use your own RS-21 because it will zap you for security purposes. Why did they even provi-

Sydney: I'm still confused. 

Lara: Me too. 

Genesis: I'll do a demonstration before we head out. Make sure that either me or Knox is there to guide you guys because it can get dangerous at times. (Spots her own one) Why is mine here- Anyways, please take one and try to activate it. Then it will light up at it's side with your name on it. After that, hold it vertically, face the tip away from you and the rest, then press the button, you guys would probably have a metal bat or a rod for now. 

Emrys: How is yours a sword then? 

Genesis: So is Knox's. We used to train with these. (While switching her RS-21 to a metal rod) Now let me show you how to activate it properly. 

Everyone stood in a circle, mimicked her action and activated their RS-21. They were amazed by the look of it. 

Sydney: This looks cool. 

Lincoln: This does not look like a 21st century weapon at all, like I have never seen this anywhere. 

Lynx: I've never seen this kind of weapon even in movies. (turning his RS-21 around)
