Genesis and Knox came out from the balcony without raising any suspicion. The others were either resting, talking to each other or checking out their RS-21, Genesis walked towards the small kitchen to search for food, to her surprise there was nothing inside.
Genesis: Is anyone hungry?
Lincoln: I am!
Lara: (Raises her hand)
Emrys: Same here
Ocean: Everyone is probably starving, right?
All: Yea.
Sydney: There's nothing in the kitchen that can be eaten.
Lara: They probably didn't have enough time to put supplies in this safe room.
Lincoln: 15th floor.
Knox: What about it?
Lincoln: There's a grocery store there, we could probably find something edible in it. I saw it when we were on the way up here.
Genesis: Great, shall we all go?
Knox: (Looking through the tab)I agree, it's a huge grocery shop.
And so, they exited the safe room quietly and head towards the grocery shop, luckily some of the lights in the mall are still working so at least they wouldn't need to walk in the dark. Soon, they reached the grocer.
Knox: We'll split in to three groups of three, it'll be much quicker.
Lincoln: Yea, we should get food, water, first aid kit and anything useful for defense. I can be in charge of getting the first aid kit.
Sydney: I can help with food.
Genesis: Alright then Lara, Lincoln and Ocean will get the first aid kits. Sydney, Lynx and Crystal will get food. Knox, Emrys and I would get the rest. We will gather at the entrance, lower down your voice as you gather your items.
As Genesis finished what she needed to tell everyone, they parted their ways to the sections that they were told. The grocery shop was huge and everything was in a mess, each group got a trolley and started loading it with items.
Group 1: First aid
Lara: What should we get?
Ocean: Common meds, like for fever and cough.
Lincoln: Grab some Antibiotics and vitamins too, we might need it.
They took quite an amount of meds, just in case any of the group members needed it in their journey.
Lara: Let's get a first aid kit, I don't think there's one in the safe room.
Lincoln: It's over the counter there, those blue boxes.
Group 2: Food
Lynx: Can't believe there's still so much food inside here.
Sydney: Let's get those that are easier to store and cook.
Crystal: We should get canned food, it's probably the safest consume.
They took different varieties of canned food, instant food and some dry food like biscuits, the trolley was stacked with food supplies that were enough to feed 9 of them for several days.
Lynx: Let's look at that section, maybe we could find more things. I'll check for zombies first, you guys can come after me.
Sydney: I hope this is gonna be fast, I'm feeling faint due to hunger.
