JEM's POV

"So how's my baby girl doing in the Philippines?" Asked lola.

Kakarating ko lang sa bahay niya. And to be honest? The house was too big for her, especially that she lives alone now.

"Nothing much lola. I'm doing great as an actress. I was just feeling unwell these days."

I can't let her know about Kurt.

She may be old, but she can break bones. Like what they say, age is just a number.

"Really? But I'm sure your father didn't send you here without a reason, right?"

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong isagot, in the end I kept my mouth shut.

"Hmm... I'll help you prepare your things up stairs. Your bedroom is the last room at the right. You'll because it's the only room with sky blue colored door."

I forced myself to smile but ended up failing.

"Thanks lola. But I can handle myself, and didn't you say you have a meeting later?"

"Oh, you're right! I need to get ready. Take care of yourself 'kay? And don't go out alone you're still not familiar with the villa you might get lost. And there's food in the fridge, use the microwave to heat it up. I'll see you later buy. Call your kuya Lex if you need anything."

My eyes followed her 'till she got out of the door.

Napahiga ako sa sofa dahil sa pagod. "I'm really lucky to have her in my life."

She is indeed a great grandmother anyone could ask for... Even though sometimes she's a little overprotective... Okay maybe 'too' overprotective.

I heaved a sigh before getting up and putting my luggages in the room.

Lola lives all by herself in this house- it's a bit small to call it a house and a bit big to call it a mansion.

Mom and Dad once told her to get her some maids para may mag-aalaga sa kanya kapag may sakit siya, but she refused.

I bet she often felt lonely.

I was almost finished unpacking my things when a call startled me.

"Hello? Can you call me later? I'm-"

"Jaz..."

My instantly turned cold upon hearing the caller's voice.

"How did you get my number?! Where did you get my number?!"

"Jaz... Sorry, hindi ko sinasadiya. Nilandi niya ako. Nilandi niya ako Jaz." He explained.
