JEM's POV
It has been 1 month and almost two weeks when Adrien and I started dating.
He didn't bother to court me and when I asked him why, he told me.
"Do I really need to? I would court you even if we're already going out though"
melted my heart kaya sumang ayon ako.
Today is July 24 at sa araw na 'to ay napagdesidyonan namin na bibisitahin ang lolo at lola niya.
"Malayo pa ba?" I asked
"30 minutes. So you better take a nap, I'll wake you when we get there." He answered not bothering to look at me since his focus is on the road.
Nothing really happened while we started dating. He would send me morning messages and drive me to Lola's company like he used to do.
And no. We only kissed once. And that is when he asked me to be his girl and I answered yes.
I felt my face flushed red while remembering those. Nakakahiya.
I immediately turned my head to the window before he would see my face that red.
Suddenly, I felt his hands on mine kaya napatingin ako dito.
"Are you still recalling that time?" He chuckled, then intertwined our fingers
"Hey focus on your driving baka mabangga tayo."
"I am. But it's hard when I'm with you."
And there he goes again with his sweet words.
Sometimes, there are times that I keep thinking about what will happen next. And I admit it, yes. I'm scared.
I'm scared. Just thinking that Adrien will leave me too is too frightening.
Natatakot ako na baka iwan niya din ako tulad ng mga taong binigyan ko ng tiwala ko.
I was too deep in my thoughts at ang huli kong naalala ay dilim na pumalibot sa akin.
Nagising ako ng biglang may pumitik sa noo ko.
"Hey sleepyhead. We're here"
Nakatulog pala ako? I guess I was a little tired kaya ako nakatulog.
"Are you sure they'll like me?" Agad kong natanong.
Habang tinutulongan niya akong bumaba ng kotse. This is the first time his grandparents and I will meet kaya kinakabahan ako.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they will." he held my hands for comfort. And we both went inside. Together.
