JEM's POV
"Apo we missed you!" Agad na bungad sa amin ng mag-asawa.
"Lola, Lolo I missed you too. Sorry I didn't get to visit you more earlier" paumanhin ni Adrien.
Pagkatapos nilang magbeso, agad na napatingin sa akin ang dalawa.
"Apo siya na ba ang hinahanap mo?"Mrs. Montero asked excitedly.
But wait...
Hinahanap? What does she mean hinahanap? Adrien has been looking for me? Why?
Sari-saring mga tanong ang bumabagabag sa isip ko.
"Po?" I asked out of nowhere. Hindi ko alam pero bigla bigla nalang akong napatingin kay Adrien na hindi maka tingin sa akin.
"What do you mean po?"
"Didn't he tell you about the girl he's been looking for over almost fifteen years already?" I didn't know that...
A girl he's been looking for fifteen years? Bakit? Labing-limang taon niyang hinanap? Bakit? Does he somehow feel something for that girl na kailangan niyang hanapin?
For the second time tiningnan ko si Adrien na ngayon ay diretso ng nakatingin sakin.

Tumingin ako kay Mrs. Montero at agad na iniling ang ulo.
"I'm sorry I thought you were her" pagpaumanhin nito "But you know, you look kind of familiar, have we met before?." Dagdag niya
Umiling ulit ako bilang sagot sa kanyang tanong.

Naglakad-lakad lang kami hanggang sa marating namin ang isang bench na agad din naming inupuan.

We even swear that we'll marry each other when we reach the right age" there was happiness in his eyes while saying those. Ang saya niya. It couldn't be compared from the happiness his face wears everyday.
He paused for a minute as if he was hesitating but then, decided to do so "One day, we got into an accident. The car's brakes was broken. She was sent to other country.Her injuries were more serious than mine because she shielded me, she protected me"
"And then?" Tanong ko na hindi pinapansin ang kirot sa puso.
"I wasn't lying when I told you I forgot my childhood memories. It's true that I forgot some memories. I forgot her name, I forgot who drived the car that time. I forgot what she looked like. But I wasn't also lying when I told you that I love you"
Tears fell down from his cheeks. I hugged him, this is the only way I could think to comfort him.
We are exactly the same...
Our hearts have been broken because of love. And I guess only love itself can also help us mend our hearts.
