The year was 1334 BC, during the reign of the great Egyptian King Akhenaton, accompanied by his precious wife, a blessing for sore eyes, the beautiful, Nefertiti.
Their period was prosperous, long, filled to the brim with wealth - their great city was thriving, Egypt was in their hands. Some say they were blessed by Nubia herself.
Their rise to fame was not unexpected, for the great Nefertiti was wise, poised, radiating a fierce elegance, she carried herself well. Along with her pristine features, she held an immense knowledge for her world. Devoting her life to Aten, she found ways of making her people feel at ease, rested inside her sanctuary - she brought peace to the ancient city.
For a long time, all was well. Though, like all things, their reign would end - and with it, she'd be laid to rest. Mummified, worshiped by her vast followers - they set her free, welcoming her into the afterlife, where they expected she'd thrive, perhaps even returning someday to the land of the living. Maybe if only to grant them one last look upon her divine structure...
