Ashly, come over am about to call Hudson. Let see how's doing... am guessing he's getting used to the whole arrangement by now.

Ring... Ring... Ring...

Hey Hudson, don't tell me you are still sleeping... I said to him as I heard the click sound signaling he has picked the call.

Really Alex, what else will I be  doing seeing as am left here with no work or any form of activities he said with his raspy voice and I couldn't help but laugh at his vulnerability.

That side of him is actually hard to see.

Well you are not there to work or anything like that. You need to go out more often, so you can meet people.

You know no one will just walk in and meet you in your apartment. So do something or you will just end up staying longer than expected.

Oh fuck no, he interrupted me as a matter of urgency with just earned him a chuckle from my end.

Bravo Ashly, I can hear you giggle from here. I see, so you are finding joy in my pain right Hudson said.

Come on Hudson, don't be so serious. It's just funny to me how you have been there for a while now and you are yet to meet anyone. Wow this is going to take a loooooooooooong time Ashly said emphasizing the o and letting out a small laugh while she earned a groan from Hudson expressing his frustration and disapproval.

Okay sorry Hudson, have you met anyone yet? Ashly asked.

Oh wait, hmm kind of. If I can include the lady that attended to me at the coffee shop... Then yes

Whoa wait, are you serious. And you didn't tell us, come on Hudson tell us everything am itching to here it. Ashly said obviously excited

Hey slow down guys it's nothing special, she's just a random lady I met at the coffee shop he said boringly.

Okay man,if there is nothing special go out and make something special and you can start with her.

Okay I will try, by the way where are you guys he suddenly asked.

At Ashly's place I said.

Alex what are you doing at her place this early, did you sleep there. In fact what happening, what  have you guys been up to, he said with amusement evident in his voice.

Shut up nothing happened Ashly and I said in unison.

Nice try guys, I know you two well enough. Something fishy is going on and one of you had better call me later and tell me everything... he said in between laugh

Fuck off Hudson, get up and do something productive. I will like to hear some promising news when I call back later, I said

Okay fine I will... Talk to you guys later he said before hanging up.

With the way things are going Ashly, I think he might stay longer than we planned. Yeah I think so too,its almost like he's not making any effort she said.

I wish there was something I can do to help but this is he's call.

Hudson's p. O. V:

those two are definitely acting weird. They will make a great couple...plus Ashly is a really good person.

The lady at the coffee shop seem like a nice person, I mean who rejects a tip.

Or maybe it's just a strategy to look nice or something.

Well since I have nothing better to do I might as well go to the coffee shop and probably try and get to know her.

When I finally got to the shop after missing my way a couple of times, I was kinda disappointed not to see the same smiling lady that welcomed me the last time rather I saw a different person with Skylar on her name tag.

I will just get my coffee and leave, she's probably not on duty today.
