Chapter 9: Stewing

Hudson's p. O. V:

I woke up this morning with a throbbing headache, yeah what else can I possibly wake up with when I spent literally the whole night stewing about all my emotional stress.

I keep wondering why my issues are always centered around relationships.

Am I really unlovable or is it a crime to be rich? Ah I will go with the latter... I said to myself as I gave an humorless laugh while walking to the bathroom.

After having a quick shower 🚿, I dressed up and decided to go for a walk and also get my coffee while at it.

When I got to the cafe, I ordered for my usual... Knowing am a regular here now. Ha ha ha ha... I laughed internally, why wouldn't I be a regular here when I practically don't have any other place to go.

And the same Amber lady attended to me and surprisingly she didn't collect money for the coffee saying its on her.

How nice, I accepted the gesture... It will be rude not to. Plus I need to save money... Alex didn't give me access to enough money, can you imagine that? How crazy.

After saying my thanks I stalked out and returned home.

When I finally relaxed on my bed, I couldn't help but stew over what happened earlier at the coffee shop. No lady has ever paid for anything for me before or even offered to pay... This is new and am really surprised at her gesture.

I guess she's just trying to get my attention or probably make friends and since am bored and kind of poor, I guess I can try and be friends with her after all I have nothing to lose... Fingers crossed

Amber's p. O. V:

Oh my God, I am so exhausted and who's this calling me... Am really too tired to answer calls right now. Looking at the caller ID I realized its Skylar

Me: hello sky

Sky: hey babes,where are you?

Me: am just leaving the shop, what's up?

Sky: I have major crisis Amber, I need your help!

Me: oh no sky, not again. I can't right now am super exhausted... I just need to go home and eat.

Sky: come on Amber you need to help me, I have a date and I don't know what to wear... Pretty please

Me: alright fine, will be there soon but you better get me food. Am so weary and hungry.

Sky: thanks boo, will be waiting. Love you

I love Skylar alright, but sometimes she can be too much, I really need a to rest.

Skylar where are you, I yelled while closing her front. In the bedroom she replied.

So why exactly is your room a mess...clothes and shoes everywhere. Just calm down girl, I will fix you up...right after I finish eating,so were is my food I asked whilst plopping down on her bed.

I know you won't do anything without food. Here you go she said handing me a box of pizza 🍕.

Girl I am tensed and freaking out, I need to make a good impression so please hurry up and stop stuffing your face with that pizza 🍕 she said and I almost choked while laughing.

So I dropped the pizza and started searching for cloth for her after drinking a generous amount of water.
