Chapter 18: Cold Shoulder.

Hudson's p. O. V:

After the call I decided to take a power nap so I went to my bedroom to sleep but I couldn't so I just relaxed and decided to reminisce about everything that has been happening over the few couple of weeks.

Even though Alex says I should relax and give her a chance, after all that's the reason am here in the first place... I don't even understand why I agreed and came in the first place. I can't do what they expect from me, is like me purposefully handing my life over to a hired Assassin.

I can't just let go of all the pain and hurt I feel deep inside my heart. When ever I think about everything have passed through with different girls over the past few years, my heart sink to my toe and I can't help but stew about my future... Will I ever be able to move past this.

I don't even want to imagine what will happen to me if I pass through something like this ever again, I won't be able to take it... It will scar me for life and I can't move past it.

I need to put myself first and guard my heart, I won't let it happen again...they always seem so nice at the beginning and sweet before they show their monstrous self. Not this time

What the hell got into me, why did I even ask her to hang out with me later today. I need to get away from her, I will get this date over with and avoid her.

I will just have to call her and let her know where to meet me. Ringing...

Amber: Hey Hudson

Me: Hi... How you doing?

Amber: Am fine, you?

Me: Am okay, so about hanging out later... Do you know that park along your work street?

Amber: Yea sure.

Me: Can we meet there in two hours?

Amber: okay see you soon.

Amber's p. O. V:

Am at the park already looking around and I can't see him anywhere and he's already like 5 minutes late. I wonder whats keeping him.

Oh finally I can see him walking in and looking good as usual, wearing a dark Blue Jeans and a white long sleeve shirt that he folded the hands up to his elbow.

But there is something about his face, he looks blue. I wonder what's wrong with him... He has seen me but he's not smiling, this is going to be a long day.

Hey Hudson how are you doing I said while trying to give him a hug, he's body is so stiff and tensed. Hey sorry am late he said while looking everywhere except me... Can we stroll around the park he asked, yeah sure I replied.

So we started walking around and looking around, I can see lots of kids playing and laughing, some couples talking and holding hands. I can also see a young couple kissing. It was kind of getting boring so I started making small talks while we looked for a bench to sit on.

After which he offered to buy me pretzel and popcorn and also Popsicle which we ate as we sat on the bench and talked about everything we can.

After a while he started glancing over at his wrist watch, which gave me the clue that he wanted to leave.

Then he stood up and said he has something to do that he has to go, so I stood up and hugged him then gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was just looking at me, he didn't say anything so I felt so embarrassed... I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me, I shouldn't have kissed him.
