Well that's Ashly for you, she always knows how to make me feel better. I guess I can say am less confused now, both Alex and Ashly are actually saying the same thing.
The only logical thing to do is to follow their advice and my heart. I will just give her a call and set things straight, I really hope it's not too late. I like her and I hope and pray she's for real this time... Fingers crossed.
Amber's p. O. V:
Hey sky I said while walking into her apartment straight from work. hey girl, someone looks exhausted she said while patting a spot on the couch beside her.
Yeah the cafe was packed and crazy today, I barely had time to sit. It was something else I said to her as I made my way to sit beside her.
What of Hudson she asked? He's fine,he was at the shop today I replied. Really, how come you don't look happy about it, what's the problem she asked. Am always happy to see him, its just that he's acting strange.
How do you mean? she asked, like when we went to the park I started and gave her all the details and how he was giving me cold shoulders and up until today at the shop and him turning my dinner offer down. I really don't know what's wrong sometimes he looks like he's going through something or he's scared and is protecting himself and sometimes he's all sweet and nice while other times he's distant and cold. He's just sending me mixed signals, I don't know what to do girl, I explained with a sigh.
It's okay, don't worry he'll come around I guess it's just not a good time for him. Just give him some time and let's hope for the best she said hopefully and I gave her a light nod.
After a while I got a text on my phone and I checked to see its hudson.
Sender:
Hudson: Hi, so I wanted to inform you that I was able to free up my evening and I will love to hang with you if the offer still stands.
Hey sky, you need to see this, tell me what should I say? she said excitedly, girl just calm down and reply tell him to come over to the house. Then you go home and get ready with the food and dress up you know look sexy and all she said with smile.
Hudson's p. O. V:
It's been like five minutes since I sent her the text and no reply, I guess she's mad at me for turning her down earlier. This is all my fault, I blew my chance... Then suddenly I heard my phone beep that must be her I thought as I picked up my phone
Sender:
Amber: Oh sure you can come to the house. See you soon
Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I really hope she's for real and I'm not making a mistake, I better go and get ready.
