"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" George was asking me. We were in front of my apartment block.

"George. I'll be fine." I replied, more annoyed than I looked.

"I think I should come in," George said. I know he's trying to get inside my place. It's so annoying.

"Look, George, I'll be fine. I don't need you to come in!" I said, my voice frosty.

"No, I really think I should come in. The effects of a concussion might not kick in until tomorrow." George insisted. I facepalmed.

"Hey, Jamie. I was waiting for you." A new voice said. Aiden appeared, walking out of the lobby of the apartment block.

"Oh, hey Aiden!" I waved. I was thankful for Aiden's appearence. He could save me from George. "George, this is Aiden, my boyfriend. Aiden, this is George."

"Hey." George sighed, looking deflated. He wasn't coming inside my place after all. I felt a bit sorry for him, but his face was so funny.

"Hey, how's it going?" Aiden said, before he turned to me. "We better get you inside. We don't want you getting a cold."

"What?! That's what I was- nevermind..." George persisted. They were walking inside. George got in his car, and started driving. "Y'know, he looked a lot like the vigilante...not to mention sharing the same name. Huh." George thought as he pulled off the motorway. "Maybe he is the vigilante. No, no, that's insane. Someone like Jamie couldn't possibly be going out with Aiden Pearce. Maybe she's into that kinda thing...maybe I should become a vigilante and try to impress her..."

Me and Aiden had started walking inside, and I could hear George drive away behind me. I stopped walking and turned so I was facing Aiden. He stopped and faced me too.

"Thank you, Aiden." I mumbled.

"You're welcome." He replied. A silence fell.

"No, really. Thank you." I said, before leaning forward and giving Aiden a hug. I felt him tense up.

"Uh, okay."

"Now George thinks I have a boyfriend and hopefully he'll stop annoying me. As a thank you I shall pay for dinner tomorrow."

"No, I'll pay." Aiden said as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Okay!" I said before breaking away and running up the stairs before Aiden could change his mind. I stopped at the top of the stairs. "Bye Aiden! See you tomorrow!" I yelled, before I continued running up the stairs. Aiden turned around and left the building with a small smile on his face.
