Aiden is supposed to pick me up in an hour. Should I wear a dress or keep it casual? Or maybe a skirt? Jeans? I don't know. I don't know where we're going either. What if we go to some super fancy place and I'm dressed in jeans and a t-shirt? I hung my head. I would call Aiden and find out but I don't have his number.
I decided, after many minutes of despair, to take the middle ground. I would wear a casual white dress. I decided just to straighten my hair and leave it down. I waited anxiously for Aiden to arrive. I was worrying about security when the doorbell rang. I went to answer it. It was Aiden. He was in a suit. Not to dressy, but dressy all the same. A bit like me. He was still in that trench coat though.
"Well, you scrubbed up nicely." I said teasingly.
"I could say the same for you." He replied. I hit him on the head playfully in response. I had to stand on my toes to reach his head. He's a few inches taller than me.
"So, shall we go?" Aiden asked, holding out his arm, which I took gleefully.
"Showtime!" I yelled as we walked out the door.
