Because of the Covid19, we restricted to work. It almost 3 months but the infected of the Covid19 continuously increase in our country so we don't have a choice but to sustain our daily needs by our savings. After 3 months of ECQ the government decided to restore the employees from their works even the Virus are still spreading, but in exchange, all the employee should have their Rapid Exam first as a prof that they are not infected.
Me and my partner Marcus decided to have our Rapid Test with my sunglasses of course. While we are in a center I try to take off my glasses then suddenly different color appeared in front of my eyes Yellow, green and some that I knows the meaning of it that naked eyes can't see. I try to ignore it and just look at my shoes instead while waiting for my turn. Marcus already take His test when a nurse calls his name first before me. I stand up when I heard my name by a nurse, when she take off her mask to freely talk I become uneasy. I freaked out when I saw a different color on her face, I felt terrified then I started to shout and call Marcus name when she try to hold me.
"Marcus! Marcus! Love please! Marcus!" I call Marcus name because of fear. Nurses try to calm me down but I really need Marcus.
"What! What is it Love, Hey! what you guys doin!" Marcus hurriedly run fast to me when he saw the situation and hug me tightly.
"Marcus! We need to go home. I saw it Marcus, I saw it. That nurse!" Pointing my index finger to the nurse "have a Virus. Marcus I saw it, we need to go home" I shout it out loud that gain the attention of others inside of the Center. And then people try to step backward like you have a serious transmitted illness. Marcus didn't mind them and drag my hand and went home.
"Marcus! Marcus! I'm scared. I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Marcus!"
"Hush Love! It's ok. I'm just here. No one can touch you now, it's just me. It's ok! Relax, I'm here!" Marcus trying to calm me and it works. After that incident, Marcus and I stayed in our apartment the whole Day.
The next day, while we're fixing our things. Someone knock our door then I felt nervous while looking at Marcus direction.
"Relax Love! Maybe it's the land lady of our apartment. Stay still ok! I open it first." Marcus open the door and I follow him knowing that it was just our land lady but it's not. A Man standing in front of Marcus with a formal attire, and two police officer with their uniform.
"We need Miss. Zia to come with us. The President want to talk to Her." I hold Marcus hand.
"No! No Marcus. I will not come with them. Sorry for yesterday Sir! It was just an wrong accusation. I will not come." Marcus hold my hands maybe because he feel it shaking even my voice. I try to act normal in front of them.
"The Nurse that you accuse as Covid19 positive is now in the Hospital. And Yes Miss, Your right she's an infected by Covid19. The President saw the video. So please we need you. Cooperate with us, you can stop the virus from spreading."
"Marcus!" I looked Marcus eyes "Marcus, Please No! I don't want to go. I will stay here. Please Marcus. Make them go."
"Can I talk to my Girlfriend first?"
"Sure Sir!" The man said.
Marcus close the door and hold my face with his thumb on my eyes.
"Love!"
"Marcus! I know what your thinking, and it's a NO. Stop it"
"Love! We both know that your beautiful eyes can help thousands of people, it can save our country even the world." I was just looking in his eyes while he say those word. I know! I know what I can do. But I'm afraid, afraid of everything.
"Love! I really love you. I try to hide you from the reality, but they still chasing on you. Please Love! Allow your eyes to see the Virus and save lives. Your a tough Woman, I know you are. You know the reasons why we are still not effected by the Virus, because this beautiful eyes" he kiss my eyes "make us safe. Please Love! Make our country safe also."
Minutes have passed, Marcus already convince me to go with them even I still don't want to go but he still insist. Marcus is right. Maybe God give this gift to me to save people from the virus. I should not be selfish.
"Please make her safe." I am now with the Man and police officer and ready to go to their Car. And For the last time I turn back and hug Marcus.
"I'll be back Love! Please wait for me. I save them, I save them but please save your self also for me. Ok! I'll be back for you. I love you. You're the only person I have, so please wait for me. Stay in our apartment, wait for me! I Love you"
"Yes! Yes! I will wait for you, i promose. I Love you. I'm so proud of you." He kiss my forehead and my eyes before I go.
Two Month have past when we started the operation. We wander around the country and find the Virus with the help of my eyes. And Yes! The reality is worst. I saw how terrible the surrounding is, I saw how the Virus spread by just a minute of time. I help the government by telling them where the Virus is when my eyes captured it so that people will avoid that place. I help also those people who don't know that they are already infected because of not having the symptoms. The other country also ask for my help and I can't say no knowing that I can help them also. I was Happy when the government finds out the vaccine for the Virus. I felt excited to go home and share the good news to Marcus.
When I open our apartment, I felt shock and I can't even move my legs when I saw how My Marcus lying down in our living room lifeless. When my senses back, I run as fast as I could to come close to Marcus. My body tremble when I saw a red and violet dots around her face, I scan his body and saw the same dots.
"HELP! HELP! SOMEBODY HELP US. PLEASE." I shout out to my lungs asking, and begging for help.
When we arrived in the hospital, doctors and nurses approach us and check on Marcus condition.
"Please Marcus" I cry while holding Marcus Hand "You promised Me Marcus! You promise me."
"Miss! Your not allowed to go inside. Just st--"
"Yes! Yes! Please make him safe. His the only person I have. Please! Please I'm begging you" I don't give attention when the nurse saying something, my mind focused only on Marcus situation. The lobby of the hospital was so quit, and I'm just here sitting and patiently wait at the waiting area.
I'm here in front of Marcus.
"I fulfilled my promise Love! Thousand of praises from the people I've help. 1 Year have Pass Marcus when the government declared our country as a Covid free." Saying like he can hear me and my tears started to flow after a minutes, you can only hear my weeping because of the mourning. "But why? Why you didn't do yours? You promised me to wait, you said to wait for me to come back! But why Marcus!" I Continue crying "if I'm just inform first, MAYBE i will not go with them and just stay by your side on that day. I regret Marcus! I regret living you that day."l can't stop from crying in front of the grave with Marcus name on it.
"Your right Marcus. Your Love, can save thousands of people. My eyes can see the Virus, but this eyes Marcus! This eyes can't see your Love forever!."
