A\N: I know the last chapter was probably very boring and horrible *sniffs*, I'll try my best to make this one as fun and interesting as I can.

I woke up with a jolt, it was pitch black , at a point I thought I was still asleep.

I patted the bed, searching for Ivan, he wasn't on the bed.

"uh, Ivan?" I said, no reply. I thought I heard something move in the room.

I frantically reached out and turned on the lamp.
I saw the silhouette of a man, watching me, a very sexy silhouette. I knew who it was in a moment.

"Jacob?" I said, squinting my eyes in the low light to get a better view of his face, I missed him, I wanted to see him, I hated myself sometimes.

"hey beauty" he said, I heard the smile in his voice. I smiled, even if I didn't want him to know how much I missed him.

WTF is wrong with me?

You saw him hours ago, why do you miss him so much? My subconscious teased.

I was thinking about him, about what happened in the elevator. It warmed my cheeks.

"what are you doing here? Watching me sleep like a creep" I said, hiding my true emotions, but of course, I was horrible at doing that.

"well, things didn't exactly go as planned this morning, I just wanted to... See you, and talk" he ran a hand through his hair, it was so sexy.

"who let you in here? Ivan?" I asked almost cutting him off, I knew I was being super rude, but what happened this morning wasn't cool.

"yes" his voice was lower than normal.

"how long have you been here?" I asked as he grabbed a stool and sat beside the bed. The glow of the lamp illuminated his features even more, he looked like an angel... of darkness.

"for a couple hours" he said, his face was so close to mine. Damn, how long have I been asleep? I knew I was a heavy sleeper though.

"what?" I blinked. He'd been waiting for me to wake up for hours? What was wrong with him?

"I just... I couldn't leave" he ran a hand through his hair again, he looked slightly frustrated. "I'm honestly shocked with myself, you're doing this to me Andrea, you're changing me" he said.

I wanted to comfort him, tell him I'm falling for him, falling fast, but I remembered Varia.

"that girl, Varia, you guys have something right?" I asked.
He didn't blink.

"I have nothing with Varia or any other girl" he said, brushing my hair from my face, I sat up on the bed, somehow his fingers managed to brush my lips.

I shivered.

The door creaked open, it was Ivan.

"finally you're awake" he exclaimed, "am I... Interrupting something?" he asked mid stride.

"umm no, totally not, what time is it?" I asked.

"a few minutes past nine" Jacob said. "I have to get going, I've got a lot to do tonight and tomorrow" he got up, his masculine scent wafted past my face, he smelled like coconut and vanilla and the tropics, with a hint of something earthy.

I loved it.

I was watching her for hours, wondering how I could be so attached to one person, I knew I was probably the biggest creep in America for that.

I was never an emotional person, I'd never been emotionally attached to someone that wasn't family, but that night when I saw her on that balcony, something changed in me.
