Tomorrow is my job interview so Cooper and I went straight to his car after finishing lunch so I could mentally prepare myself at home. Once we were settled in the car I decided to talk to Cooper about that shit with Schlatt. "So, why are you so intent on setting me up with this guy?" I ask, looking down at the unopened twitter notification on my phone.

Cooper tapped his fingers on the steering wheel as we began the drive home. "I don't know, he just showed some interest in you so I told him a bit about you. I mean we spend so much time together he basically knows you, I talk about you a lot." Cooper says, not taking his eyes off the road, I snickered at the thought that Cooper talks about me to his friends.

"I guess it wouldn't be so bad having some more friends. If I get this job-"

"-you will" Cooper interrupts, grinning.

"IF I get the job," I emphasize the if. "I might not have time for a relationship." I'm bad at relationships. Maybe it's my own insecurities or maybe I'm just toxic but even friendships are hard for me. "Plus you know how I am." I say making eye contact with him before he turns his eyes back to the road.

He gives me a sympathetic sigh, "I think you just need to find someone who fits. Like me and you, we work so well together all the time!" Cooper is right, we never fight or distance from each other, he's the best friend I ever could have asked for. "I don't know, I just think you and Schlatt would ✨vibe✨ well together." I giggled at Cooper using the word vibe.

"Well, if you think we'll work, I'll try." He said a little yes all excited and I smiled.

The rest of the drive was average, we played some music and rolled the windows down screaming along to the songs we mutually knew. I always have fun with Cooper.

Once we arrived to my apartment Cooper made himself at home on my couch, my cat Felix rubbed his head on my shins while I made my way to my bedroom to put my new clothes away. Felix is a beautiful cat I adopted from the shelter near by, honestly I have no idea what breed he is but he's got long black fur and bright yellow eyes.

I pulled the shirt and skirt out of the bag and placed them over the back of my gaming chair along with a pair of tights. I sighed looking at the clothes, although i'm confident in my abilities, job interviews have always made me nervous.

"Why haven't you responded to Schlatt on Twitter?" Cooper shouted from the living room over the sound of the tv.

"Oh shit I forgot." I state pulling my phone out of my pocket seeing the same notifications from earlier, still unopened. I don't rely on my phone as much as other people do, I often just forget about it. "You gave him my account right?" I said, just making sure it wasn't easy to find.

"Yeah, I sent it to him during lunch." He said as I walked into the living room to join him on the couch.

"Okay cool." I responded sitting on the couch next to Cooper as he wraps his arm around my shoulder. "I kinda feel bad it's been two hours since he messaged me." He laughs and I sticker as well.

"He probably needs to be humbled anyways." Cooper says also pulling out his phone.

I feel a bit of a nervous ting in my stomach as I slide my thumb across the screen to open the notification. My phone unlocked and I read over the twitter direct message and laughed out loud.
