1. The New Neighbour

The cool breeze welcomes you into your bedroom window, you gently close your eyes humming along to the rhythm of the melodic song while leaning against the side of the window. 

A sudden engine roaring caught your attention to see a massive van vehcile reversing into the house next to yours.

A new neighbor huh?

"Y/N!~ Your sister needs help with her homework. Can you please help her?", your mother asks.

You went to find your adorable 5-year-old sister, Annie adorably focused on her homework. You are such a loving daughter in the family, you respected your parents and diligent with your studies. You were also a role model to your sister who loves to spend time drawing and hang with you.

After helping your sister, you put your headphones back on your ears and decided to work on your studies. You had many thoughts about your future, what you wanted to do, how will the end of the year actually end. The warmth of the sun setting made you reflect on the warmth of peace suggesting that it would be the perfect time to paint. Left to right your hand gracefully moves the brush on the canvas admiring the beautiful pink-orange view in front of you.

THUD!

The loud thud on the roof above surprised you which made you ruin your perfect canvas. You peered over the window to see two boys awkwardly waving at you signaling if you could come down. You didn't want anger to rush all over you, with deep breaths, you calmed yourself and exited out of your backyard.

"Excuse me! Anyone there?!", an erupting loud voice surprised you again.

"Bokuto, you're too loud.", another deep voice was heard.

You used the backyard chair taking a glimpse over the backyard gate to see two masculine boys looking up at you.

"Hi, I'm Akaashi. I'm a new neighbor here.", he introduced.

"Hi... I'm Y/N...", you shyly reply.

"I'm Bokuto! It's nice to meet you Y/N!", he cheerfully said.

"Sorry to call you down but Bokuto here threw the ball over your rooftop...", Akaashi apologized.

"Ah, I see. I can get it if you'd like?", you politely asked.

"If you don't mind...", Akaashi touched the nape of his neck as Bokuto cheekily smiles. You told them to meet you in front of your house.

When you properly met them face to face, you were in shock to see how extremely tall they were. They were filled with curious faces as they looked up and down at your denim overalls with paint stains. As they followed you into your house, your little sister stopped playing with her toys when she sees two giants in front of her eyes. She hurriedly runs to her older sister tugging her overalls signaling her to crouch down.

"Y/N... who are they?", she cutely whispers against your ear.

"Ah, they're our neighbors Annie. They live next door to us!", you told her.

"Hello! I'm Annie! I am 5 years old!", she introduced herself.

"Cute!~ I'm Bokuto!", he flashes his smile again.

"I'm Akaashi! It's nice to meet you, Annie.", he gently beams.

You guided Akaashi and Bokuto to your room.

"Sorry for the mess, I was in the middle of painting.", as you tidied your space in your room.

"No. I feel bad we interrupted your time. Bokuto you should apologise. ", Akaashi said in a regretful way nudging Bokuto's arm.
