"Come one babe! Let's find our seat!", Atsumu drags you while holding your hand into the cinemas. You couldn't seem to show your real emotion as you just give him a smile.
It's the day you had to make up your promise to Atsumu but that did not mean that the night he caused was to just become a fling and be forgotten. It truly hurt your feelings. A lack of trust that made you stop meeting Akaashi.
You continued to eat your popcorn while watching the romantic movie but only have Akaashi in your mind. Even Atsumu could sense it.
You wondered what and how he is going...
The date was nearly going to an end, small droplets of rain started to pour down as you both hurriedly opened your umbrellas walking together in silence with crickets chirping at a distance.
At the bridge, he grabs hold onto you to grab your attention.
"I'm sorry... Y/N. I'm really sorry.", a sigh left his lips. "I just got really jealous to see you with him. I don't like the way he stares at you or even around you... I want to take this to the next step.", as he approaches to you.
"I want you Y/-."
"I want a break.", you cut him off.
"...What?", he scoffs in disbelief.
"I need a break from this relationship.", you remarked once more.
"Why?! Didn't you even listen to what I just said?!", he shouts.
"Yes, and we need a break.", you gave a deep sigh. "It's not you... It's me. I need to refresh myself up. That's why I need to end this relationship. I'm sorry Atsumu...", you walked away leaving him there all alone.
In the dark streets with dimmed lights, the rain calmed down except for you. You didn't feel sad at all. You don't understand why. Miya was always there for you through all the hard times even before you used to date. You checked up on Annie before you headed up to your room.
Thud!
A loud noise was heard above your roof. You peered over the window to see if it was Akaashi but pitch black was all you could see.
That's strange... you thought to yourself.
You decided to head up to the roof to only find Akaashi's volleyball resting at the distance. You walked up further closer towards the ball realising there was something else next to it. You opened up a duff bag to greet a toy. An owl toy? You chuckled how it reminded you of Akaashi. You further looked into the bag to see a note. "Anyone who has seen her smile has known perfection. She instills grace in every common thing and divinity in every careless gesture."
You chuckle at the cheesiness the quote was. Yes. This is what you needed.Your happiness again.
"How cheesy was it?", the deep low voice you missed listening to. You turned around to see Akaashi standing a metre away from you.
