Still with you [Akaashi x Reader] ON HOLD

15. As calm as the sea

Entrance exams were a few weeks away, as the tension starts to rise when the days get closer. Before anything else, your mentality comes first. Luckily, both of your wounds were quickly healed before your graduation events which are coming soon. As the past weeks your Saturday 'dates' were also a true healing session not only for you but Akaashi's as well. You both took turns in taking each other to aesthetic cafes, organizing a picnic feast,  sharing Akaashi your secret baking recipes, and even Akaashi teaching you volleyball all over again.

You also nearly finalised your artwork wrapping up your completed seasons' concept. "It looks great Y/N.", he compliments from behind. You invited him over for some company as he studies beside you. You are glad that both your emotions did not waver a distraction when studying together. You both were very determined to reach your goals. 

You and Akaashi decided it would be a good idea to take a stroll in order to destress the tensity in your brains. By staring up at the baby blue sky you greet specks of snowflakes sprinkled on your cheeks.

A sudden soft snowball was targeted towards you. 

"Hey!", Akaashi sneakily runs away to prevent himself from getting hit back. You tackle him down laughing while playing with the snow. 

"I feel like a kid...", he blurts out, decorating the snowman with you. 

"Well you were one", you sniggered sculpturing your snowman next to his. 

"I mean that I never really got to do these things back when I was young." 

"Oh... why's that?", you asked. 

"Both of my parents had work and I stayed with my grandparents from my dad's side. They've been are very strict wanting to carry the Keiji family to continue the Keiji department.", He explained.

"Keiji department? As in the retail company?!", you exclaimed only to respond with a nod. 

"My brother is currently studying in the commerce degree to run the company in the future. My grandparents also want me to join in.", He emphasized. 

"Hmmm I see. But, what do you want to study at university?", you changed the subject to keep him in a good mood. 

"Well, I don't mind studying to become an editor or a journalist?", you weren't surprised by the sound of it. The fact that he likes to read pretty makes a lot of sense. 

"What about you?", he interrogates. 

"Honestly, I'm not sure. I have a lot on my mind. Education, Media, Fine Arts, or Social Science. Not quite sure which direction I want to go through.", you spark with interest. 

"Ehhh, I feel like you would definitely fit into any of them.", he compliments, he stands to only stumble on top of you. 

"I feel like your clumsiness is starting to affect me", he grins.
