I paced back and forth in my room. It was nearly eight o’clock and I was stressing the fuck out. I had not meant for last night to happen. It was a mistake, a stupid idiotic mistake and I was going to have to face the consequences today. The entire day I found myself questioning my sexuality. Could I seriously be gay? Or bisexual or whatever the fuck they call it? I liked kissing Alek, loved it actually, and that’s what worried me the most. How could I find kissing a guy pleasurable? The thought alone was disgusting, but when I was around Alek it felt as if that’s all I wanted. To shove him up against the wall and kiss those soft sweet lips . . .
“Fuck,” I muttered pushing the thought away. I grabbed the keys off my dresser and headed down stairs.
“Where are you going?” Elena asked from the living room.
“Christians,” I lied. “I’m going to stay the night at his place so don’t wait up or worry Mom and Dad about it.”
“Whatever,” she answered.
I walked out the door and jumped in my car. As I started the car I wondered if I should’ve brought some clothes with me since I was staying the night at Alek’s. I shrugged, maybe that would be my excuse to leave. I pulled out of the drive way. I needed to end whatever this was between Alek and me.
“You’re late,” Alek said after opening the front door.
I glanced down at my phone. “Dude, it’s like 8:05.”
He shook his head, a small smile forming on his lips. He stepped aside and let me in. “I didn’t know if you would come or not.”
“A deal’s a deal,” I said looking around. I hadn’t noticed how nice his house was before. I was about to compliment it when suddenly I was pushed up against the wall. “What… are you… doing?” I managed to gasp against Alek’s lips. He was kissing me roughly, his body pressed against mine.
“Finishing what we started,” he murmured against my lips. Alek started to undo the buttons on my flannel shirt.
“S-stop,” I gasped grabbing his hands off my shirt and pushing him away.
His eyebrows drew together in confusion. “But . . . last night you kissed me back.”
“I’m surprised you even remember that considering how drunk you were.” I said buttoning my shirt back up.
He looked up at the ceiling looking slightly annoyed. “Sometimes I just want to strangle you.” He muttered turning around and walking away.
“Where are you going?” I asked following behind him.
“You pissed me off,” he answered walking up the stairs.
I scoffed. “Because I wouldn’t fucking make out with you?”
Alek spun around at the top of the stairs. “Because I don’t know what you fucking want!” he yelled. “You tell me to stay away from you so I do, and then I catch you checking me out in the locker rooms, you agreed to this stupid fucking deal, and you kissed me back last night! Now you’re pushing me away again and I don’t know what to do!” I could only stand there shocked by his sudden outburst. “What do you want?” He spoke the last few words slowly, making sure to emphasize each word.
