As Melody would put it, goodbyes put an unfixable hole in your heart. Her and Adelaide recently had a horrdedus breakup, the reason being Adelaide's dishonesty and drug use. It would hit you differently observing those qualities in a significant other than in a friend.
But when your friends are at eachother's throats, you're expected to take sides. Although the morals behind this social expectation will only make your mental health fly off the rails, people still seem to think you have to do it. And that was hard for me.
Both Adelaide and Melody are important to me. Without them, and Franky I never would have successfully overcame my tragedies. Even though Bon is now in the picture, I still owe alot to my loyal friends.
Like I had conspired, Adelaide still was-- and probobly always will be hooked on Phil. A sinful kiss was shared between the two that started this whole mess. Adelaide confessed to Melody that she locked lips with the drummer, and even though the rare instance of honesty was applauded, Melody called it quits right then and there.
This breakup would soon became the motivating incident for another attempt from Adelaide to get clean. From what I know from her she is going to start looking around for a real job instead of focusing on trading illegal substances for money. Melody was ready to call bullshit, but I on the other hand became willing to hear her out.
She wanted to apply at a music store, passion and money were a more desirable combination. Angus offered to talk to the owners, therefore providing an aiding reference. For my part I helped with her resume, and talking her through various situations that could come up in job interviews.
Despite all the evidence against this worst case scenario fear, I still worried she would fall into her old ways again. I felt for Bon, having to listen to my shrieks of fear regarding this situation that my anxiety deemed as extremely controversial, but he was just great at being able to calm me down.
For example, I found myself in the middle of a meltdown whilst Bon and I were showering this morning. I will be forever grateful due to how calm he remained. How patient and non judgemental he was with me.
He took me to Melody's bar that night. The attractive brunette was extremely happy to see us, in fact she broke some rules and gave us some shots on the house.
"You know I might have a little party at my apartment tonight. You two interested?" Melody asked us, soon smiling at a redheaded female that sat not too far away from us.
"Yeah I'd really like that. Eager for things to go back to normal." I replied, Bon gave me a sympathetic look and rubbed my thigh gently.
"Sweet. Guess I'll be seeing you tonight then."
Although Melody's parties were sometimes filled with pure filth that once sat on the bar stools, I always found a way to have a good time. Bar patrons would always attend these kind of things, bringing out their wild and promiscuous side. Melody was an infulance for that kind of nature, she was now making out with the redhead we'd just met.
Bon and I made our way to a more private section. The comfortable bed we flopped down onto felt like heaven.
"Angela I need to tell you something." Bon mumbled, as he began to kiss my exposed body. I let out a soft moan and then turned to look at him. "I really need you to listen, okay?"
"Okay." I smiled, running my hands through his hair as he kissed my chest a few times. I always loved these moments. After we'd be messing around in the sheets, he would become sweet to the extreme. He was a charmer for sure.
"Angela you drive me wild. Everytime I see you I have feelings I can't describe... Angela I love you. You are the only person I want to be like this with."
"Bon.." I whispered, then crashed my lips onto his. "Bon I love you too. So much."
