"But it's too early! There's no way I'm having this baby right now!" I cried out as I squirmed due to the pain caused by the contractions.
Melody calmly shushed me, meanwhile Bon held onto my hand tightly. However, the doctor didn't look too optimistic.
"Hunny it'll be over before you know it.." she said reluctantly. "But you need to push."
"IT'S NOT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! IT'S JUST NOT HAPPENING!"
"Baby..." Bon nuzzled up to me and wiped some of my tears. "I beileve in you. You're Angela fucking Scott. You're a badass woman and I can't tell you how proud of you I am. I'm so lucky to be able to call you mine." I couldn't help but smile at this. "Do you trust me?"
"Yes." I said on the brink of more tears falling.
"You need to push now baby." Bon said softly. "You've got this it's going to be okay."
So, with a deep inhale I put all my strength on the table. And I kept repeating the same steps until...
The baby was out.
But it wasn't crying.
"W...why isn't it crying?" Quickly this situation became intense, and the intensity only heightened by the second. Then I saw the slight smiles on Bon and Melody turn to frowns instantly. "What happend?"
"Angela...I'm so sorry..there's no words." Bon whispered lowley as the doctor placed the baby in my arms. But..
"She's gone." My voice cracked and nausea crept up behind me. At this moment I broke into hysterical tears like I never had before. "Our baby is gone.."
Bon laid his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes, and I watched a tear fall from his eye and travel down his cheek.
"But she's still the most beautiful baby I've ever seen." The smile from this sentence lasted about five seconds. Then the reality of this situation set it again.
"I think we should name her Angel." Bon cradled the baby in his arms, I nodded in agreement.
"I'm sorry Angel...."
