Chapter 24 - I'm Spinning

"Morning sunshine." I opened my eyes to find Bon with a wide smile on his face. "Did you have a good honeymoon doll?"

"Of course." I said softly and then looked down at my stomach. "I can't wait to meet him or her. You're going to be such a great dad Bon."

So, it finally sank in-we really got married! Today being the final day of our honeymoon. In due time we returned to our home. That was now shared between the two of us.

"Suprise!" Melody screeched with excitement, surronded by the band members. "Welcome home!"

"Thanks guys you didn't have to do this." I pulled Melody into a tight hug.

"We brought y'all cake too." Cliff added. "Also Phil brought your favourite soda."

"Thanks." I gave Phil a weak smile, thanking him for the drink, then resting myself against Bon.

"So it won't be much longer until you've got a little baby." Malcolm observed.

"You two are going to be amazing uncles." I said with a smile as I sat myself down on the couch.

"You okay Angela?" By now the sky had turned to a state of glistening darkness. Melody wrapped her arm around me and I gave a half smile.

Since the boys were having some guy time, it left us alone to be free to our own devices.

"I'm just a little nervous to be honest with you. I've seen so many things go wrong during birth."

"Angela I'm gonna be there with you, and so will Bon and you trust your doctor. You got this girl."

I bit my lip and nodded through the pain caused by the sudden twinge in my stomach.

"Angela what just happend?" Melody asked me seriously. I felt myself tear up, since it's much too early for me to be in labour..

But the feelings didn't go away.

"Melody it's too early....AHHHHHHH."

"I'm getting Bon and we're getting you checked out."

"IT'S TOO EARLY!"
