Never Young

There is no fury

Like a women scorned

Unless that women

Has never been adored

I guess it was all in my head

What a sad old line

But its getting truer

all the time

Had there been a moment

To feel in the slightest

Maybe then I wouldn't

fall for the likeness

And here it is

Another sleepless night

Oh Lord

Don't let me get old

Without ever being young

A story already told

Not even begun

Oh Lord

There is a magnet in my brain

It's bringing neurosis again

Bring on the rain

If I were above the law

I guess he would see

But I am the wall

Where is the best of me?

Shall I take the less than

my sanctuary has been ruptured

Dancing aimlessly

I think this beats been ruptured

And here it is

Or did you not notice

Oh Lord

Don't let me get old

Without ever being young

A cliche already tired

Its all been done

Oh Lord

There is a magnet in my brain

It's bringing neurosis again

thoughts like a stubborn stain

Miracles don't suit me

They never knew me well

Maybe I'll find someone

Who knows where miracles dwell

There was a child

Somewhere in my heart

She lost her way again

That's where the darkness starts

Oh Lord

Don't let me get old

Without ever being young

I am tired

Oh Lord

There is a magnet in my brain

It's bringing neurosis again

Messing with my wires

And here it is

Another sleepless night

And here it is

Or did you not notice
