Chapter 5 ~ Meal At his

'out for another meal?' the father asked as you went down the stairs in (Your favorate clothes)

You nod.

'and with those clothes and that smile, you obviously found someone' Father Brown concluded.

You giggle slightly, going red.

'Let me guess' he says 'the inspector?'

You go even more red.

'Please, don't tell Ms Mccarthy and Felecia.' you say, pleading.

'your secret is safe with me' the father says.

You smile and leave the house, closing the door.

Clutching his address you walk along to the police station, turning right you see a beautiful house set back in gardens.

Knocking on the door, Tom opens the door, he smiles at you. 'Come in' he says, opening the door and shutting it behind you.

You smelt a chicken in the oven as he invited you to sit in the sitting room with him. He was wearing his normal blue shirt without his hat. He looked very dashing you thought.

You start talking more and more, your bodies moving closer. Suddenly a pinger went. Getting up he walks into a kitchen and you heard some crashing.

Getting up you walk over and looking round the door you see him getting out two plates and served up chicken, potatoes and some other stuff.

He puts to the two plates on the table and invites you to sit. He pours some wine and you eat with him.

'This is amazing, thank you' you say finishing the meal.

'I'm happy you enjoyed it' he said, getting up and taking your hand, drawing you back to the sitting room.

'Would you like a drink?' he asks you.

'Hm, I will have what you are having' you say, smiling.

He grabs some whiskey from the counter and pored two glasses, handing one to you.

Sipping it gently he sits back down next to you. You put your head on his shoulder and he starts to stroke your hair.

You look up at him and he kisses you gently. Putting your glass down you look round at him.

'You are very beautiful' Tom says, putting down his own glass.

You giggle gently he shifts towards you, putting his thumb onto your bottom lip he kisses you once more, much deeper this time. You grab his neck lean in closer.

You let go after a while and he smiles cheekily at you.

'I think father Brown is onto us' you mummer to him.

'Wait, you know Father Brown?' he asks confused.

'How haven't you noticed, your an inspector' you giggle, poking him 'He's my uncle' you say.

'oh' Tom said.

'Is that a problem?' you stammer.

'No, no' Tom said, putting his hand in yours.

You nod as the two of you sit in each others company, your hands holding. Soon the inspector fell asleep on your shoulder.

'Oh look at time' you say 'I promised I would do some jobs for Ms Mccarthy, I'm late'

The inspector who had fallen asleep on your shoulder woke with a jolt.

'Oh I'm sorry I woke you' you say, sitting back down next to him.

'it's okay, I will see you out' Tom replied.

Walking to the door, he opened it for you.

'I hope to see you again' Tom said, looking down at you.

'why don't we have lunch tommorow at a cafe?' you ask

'That sounds wonderful, my lunch break is as at 12:30' he says.

'Well, I will see you then' you quickly kiss him before walking away, leaving a slightly surprised Tom.
