Yewan, Harim, and Morgana were at the site of the defeated battery, waiting for Emperor Jang to appear. They didn't have to wait long. He burst through the underbrush in purple-faced rage and sputtering incoherence.
"Just the emperor?" Yewan snorted, "He has the fighting skills of a guinea pig. We can easily take him!"
Morgana nudged him and whispered, "He never comes alone, Yewan, you know that."
"Oh yeah... I forgot."
"WHAT... what, what have you done... you - you interfering... lily-livered... d-demons?" Emperor Jang sputtered.
"We've destroyed your battery," Yewan smirked, "I didn't think you'd be that angry."
The emperor screeched: "I - I'll send you to prison! Life sentence! Toiling in the iron mines of Nolania! Until you die!"
And from the forest burst hundreds of soldiers. The Emperor had a human army too. They rushed forward and knocked Harim, Yewan, and Morgana out.
They woke to find themselves bound and on the path to the mines of Nolania.
"Great. Just great," Yewan groaned, "Now we're going to work forever in those stupid mines. Prison."
Morgana shot him a look.
The cave entrance to the mines loomed out of the distance. They were thrown roughly in after their bonds had been cut. A glowworm lamp was tossed in after them.
"Great. Just great."
