When Ned's in a mood-

  Ned clapped his hands together as he took in the people in the room. He had gathered them all in a circle on the floor to try to make himself  seem more in charge. Tactics he had learned from his mom. 

   "Glad you got here in time Peter." Ned pointed out menacingly. Peter rose an eyebrow at Ned's tone of voice. He glanced at everyone else as if they could give him hints to what is going on. 

   Flash was twitchy and bouncing his knee nervously which is a feat to do while sitting crisscrossed. Mary Jane while leaning back tapped the wood floor with her long nails impatiently,creating an annoying off beat rhythm.

    The only one who looked him in the eye was MJ and even she looked concerned while giving him a foreboding look.

Before Peter could ask anything Mary Jane pushed herself into a slouch and spoke up clearly annoyed "So,what are we even waiting on?"

"You mean who we are waiting on and that person is Harry Osborn and so if that BLOB doesn't get here soon enough there will be more then one broken foot around here!" Mary actually gasped in shock at Ned's yelling.

Eh,Peter saw it coming. When Ned Leeds is in a mood he's in the mood. MJ also wasn't very surprised since she believed everyone had their "dark side." Flash could only think about how he has seen worse (in himself).

It seemed Ned was about to start when a blaring noise started throughout the room causing the conversation to come to a sudden halt.

   Everyone looked over to the source to see that it was actually Peters phone that was ringing.

   Now that they all thought about it they've never actually heard Peter's phone before. It also wasn't very surprising that the Imperial March was his phone's ring tone.

Peter pulled out the device out,unsure what to do since he could not talk to who's calling anyways. It was also a double "Yikes!" Since Ms.Hill was the one calling. Yet again Peter didn't have to do anything though because his phone was snatched as quick as lighting by not so surprisingly,Ned.

After mouthing a quick "sorry" Ned began to speak to the caller on the other side. Everyone was already really antsy before. Now it was unbearably worse because they couldn't really understand the conversation since they were only hearing one side of it.

"Okay!" Ned yelled tossing Peter his phone back. "It was just your Aunt H wondering where you are at,it's all been taken care of." Ned waved his hands in emphasis.

   Peter nodded pleased he wouldn't have to make Aunt- he means- Ms.Hill upset.

"Look at you Peter" he thought frustratedly "correcting yourself inside of your own head!"
He was soon pulled out of his self loathing by Ned's voice. Mouth thinning when he realized that he already missed the beginning of his explanation.

"that's why we all need to come clean...and you don't gotta be detailed we just have to admit general ideas ya know?" Ned's question was left hanging in the air unanswered.

Everyone was too scared. Scared of so many things...mostly possibilities. Peter has too many secrets for his own good. Flash is having one for the first time. Mary Jane has made herself believe her own lies. MJ buried everything inside always aware of the upturned dirt.

"I am adopted." Okay,wow that's one way to start this conversation.

"What?" Mary asked as if to say "come again?"
