The blare of my alarm made me jump up and out of bed. I groaned as my body felt sore and stiff, i turned and shit off the stupid alarm and crossed to the attic exit. I slid down the ladder and found Dad wasnt anywhere.

I shrugged it off and went to make some french toast. I went to open the fridge and found another note from dad.

"Hey kiddo, sorry works got me working longer shifts now."

I sighed, placing it on the bench and continuing to make breakfast. While it was in the pan, I grabbed a plate and some cutlery. I quickly flipped the egg dipped bread over and began making a smoothie; mango!

I focused back on the toast, taking it out the pan and on the plate. I poured maple syrup over - thanking Canada for its beautiful existence. I placed the plate and cutlery on the table and skipped back into the kitchen to pour the smoothie out of the blitser and into a cup. I carried it over to the rest of my breakfast and sat down.

Finally relaxed again I took a bite of my syrup drowning toast. I hummed in approval of my cooking. Bringing the cup of smoothie closer to me, finishing my mouthful, i took a well deserved sip.
I shivered in delight as the cold drink travelled down my throat.

I continued to enjoy my breakfast, when I was interrupted by my ringtone. I dropped the knife and fork and dashed up the ladder to my room. Sliding over to my phone, taking it off charge and answering it in one motion.

"Hello?" Basic answer
"Hey (y/n)! Its Yachi, Suga gave me your number."
"Hey! What's up?" I wonder what Ya-chan needs.
"The volleyball team is having a sleepover at Kyokou's holiday home next week, I was wondering if you would like to come?"

A sleepover? Like we all just have a weekend together?
A weekend with Suga? I couldn't pass up that offer.

"Sure! Just send me the details and I can arrange to be there." I bet she could hear my smile through my words.

"Cool because...I know Sugawara-Senpai is going to be there." Her hushed voice towards the end made me ecstatic finding out that Suga is going.

We had an average conversation after that, but ya-chan had to go help her parents with something. Probably chores.

I placed my phone down and made my way over to my cupboard. I pulled out some high waisted jeans and my favourite crop-top. I smiled at myself in the mirror, i had lost weight. I smiled until I glanced at my hair - it was a birds nest.

I dropped my smile as I grabbed my brush and attempted to comb through the bed head. I looked like Nekoma's captain. I thought about how I've never seen Kurasuno in a volleyball magazine, they have such good players with amazing skills.

I looked at the mirror, finding that my hair in a satisfactory state. I went back downstairs, or is it down ladder? Ugh, whatever. I went down to the first level and sat on the couch. My plan today was to do nothing. Because there is nothing to do.

I turned the TV on and went to the volleyball channel. I smiled slightly as I realised they are playing one of my old games when I was able to play. I recognised this as my last game to. The game had me in a trance, only the knock on the door took me out.

I stood up and shuffled to the door, i peaked out the window first - seeing a grey floof awkwardly standing there like an idiot. I giggled and opened the door.

"Hey"

"Hey! Uhm- I was wondering if you wanted to get coffee with me or something?" Suga pressed his index fingers together shyly.

"Sure, I'll just grab my phone and keys." I left the door open as I jogged back into the lounge grabbing my things and walking back with a smile on my face.

Sugawara waited patiently as I locked the door, I turned to him the smile still evident. Apparently it was contagious because Suga startes smiling, he was so cute.

"Yeah, its just up this way..." Suga led me to a neat little cafe. The outside was black with a splash of orange - Kurasuno colours. I held down a laugh as we walked in, the colours were obviously a theme.

We walked to a booth at the back, one with the really comfortable seats. I sighed as I sunk into the cushion. I heard Suga laugh, I looked up at him who literally did the exact same thing. I joined in and giggled.

We each took a menu when our laughter had died down. I couldn't decide so I just looked at the special - An iced chai latte.

"What are you thinking?" Suga said still buried in the menu.

"Oh, I was going to have the special." I awkwardly said. "What about you?"

"I'm thinking a mocha." He smiled brightly causing me to softly smile and fall deeper in love - shame he already has a soulmate.

The waitress soon took our orders and brought them to the table, quickly placing the bill in front of Suga. He slid it to himself and paced over his card to tap, I noticed that the waitress had written down her number on the receipt. I couldn't help but feel annoyed that she tried such a thing, but then Suga noticed and immediately throw the paper away.

The waitress looked so offended, I glanced up to Suga who was disgusted and had a dark aura around him. The lady stormed off with a scoff back into the kitchen, her skirt fluttering around attracting all the fuck boys. Suga turned back to me and smiled.

"Sorry about that." His smile automatically put me at ease, I can see why he was the vice captain/ mum for the boys in the volleyball team.

"It's alright..." I trailed off, taking a light sip of the iced-chai in front of me. I failed to notice that Suga was staring at me in awe, when I looked back up from my drink he was sipping his own. "Is it nice?" I asked, I've had a few mochas before, they are nicely thick with chocolate.

"Yeah, I have a thing for sweet stuff," His glorious smile stayed displayed beautifully on his face as he winked at me, "What about yours?"

"It's nice, not too strong but not weak either." I stated, blushing slightly as I realised that may have been his attempt to hide a flirtatious comment. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks as the idea of this being a date popped into mind.

"You alright?" Suga asked with a worried expression, noticing  that i was red.

"Ye-yeah" I stuttered.

After that we fell into a comfortable silence, enjoying each others company. Soon enough we finished our drinks and Sugawara walked me home, like the gentleman he is. I waved goodbye and closed the door, once it was shut i helplessly fell to the floor.

"I really love him..." I sighed, I was upset he had a soulmate but I knew I would support him no matter what.
