I shut the door behind me and hurried up the ladder to my room. I dumped my bag down near my bed and made my way over to my cupboard. I contemplated on what to wear before shrugging my shoulders and pulled out a random shirt and pants. Turns out I had grabbed an over-sized long sleeve shirt in my favourite colour and some black dyed jeans. I hummed, I've never worn these together before but putting it on and looking in the mirror made me feel cute.
I let my hair loose and slipped into shoes that matched the shirt I was wearing. I grabbed my phone before heading to Sugawara's two story home. I made my way to the door, believe me when I say I was a nervous wreck. I took a deep breath and shyly knocked on the door, from the other side I could hear someone tumbling down the stairs and a muffled 'ow.' I giggled recognising the voice as Suga, then I regained my composure as the door opened revealing a smiling Suga who was holding the side of his head.
"Falling for me already are we?" I teased, totally covering the fact I fell for him ages ago.
"Oh ha ha." He sarcastically laughed, letting me in. Suga was wearing a dark pair of jeans and a blue bell sweater that had a turtle neck, blue made his features stand out and boy did he look attractive.
"So what did you want to do?" I asked curiously as I sat on the couch, directing my attention to the grey haired male.
"I have no clue," Suga laughed, "movie?" He pointed towards the television across from the couch. I saw the DVD rack besides the TV and skimmed down the titles, I saw a mix of disney, horror, action, and romantic movies. I pursed my lips before they lifted into a smile.
"Do you have snacks?" I lifted my head, he was hovering above me and smiling.
"Popcorn or chips?" He asked as if it were a question needed to be asked.
"Popcorn AND chips?" I answered his question with a question, because I couldn't say no to either of those options. Suga nodded and left to the kitchen, I watched as his beautiful figure walked away. I smiled to myself as I thought about what he would look like without a shirt. The sound of the microwave shutting brought me out of my thoughts and I blushed realising what I was thinking about. I brought my hands to my cheeks attempting to hide my rosy cheeks.
I was calm by the time Suga came back and placed two bowls on the coffee table. I looked at the popcorn and the chips Doritos. I smiled allowing my eyes wander to the other snack in the room, who had sat next to me. I snapped out of my daze before it was too late and frowned at the gap between us.
"What movie do you want to watch?" I perked up at the sound of Suga's voice.
"What about your favourite movie?" I was so indecisive it wasn't funny. I watched as his face turned into a surprised but accepting expression. He walked over to the rows of DVD's and pulled out a horror film. If I knew he would pick out a scary movie I would of been out of here in a heart beat, yet I stayed in hidden fear.
"Is this okay?" Suga held up the cover, "I know a lot of people don't really like scary movies..."
"It's fine, but um, don't be surprised if I latch onto you." I admitted, fiddling with my hands. I saw Suga look down with an awkward smile before he placed the disc in. He made his way back over to the couch, this time closing the gap between the two of slightly; that made it easier to hug him in the parts where I got scared.
I felt a little bad, knowing at one point there will be no space between us because of a cheap scare jump. Suga grabbed the remote and pressed play, while I just grabbed a small handful of popcorn. I placed one in my mouth as the movie started playing.
~~
"Why would you go towards the danger?" I whisper yelled, talking about the protagonist who went towards the monster to save his lover - who, spoiler alert, was already dead.
"Because it's cliche" Suga whispered back.
At this point, Suga was laying on the couch resting his head on the arm while I was sitting in between his legs with my head rested against his chest; his arms were around my waist because it felt awkward for him to put them anywhere else. At first we were really embarrassed about it but soon got comfortable as time went on. It felt nice, but I knew it wouldn't last long - he would find his soulmate and do all these things with them instead.
While I was lost in thought, the movie had ended.
"Oh, sorry." I awkwardly laughed as I noticed the film had finished and began to get up, but Suga's arms were still wrapped around my waist tightly. "Suga?" I looked behind me and he had a mischievous grin on his face.
Without letting me go, he had picked me up and carried me up the stairs. I was so confused to what he was doing, that was until, I was placed onto a mattress - his bed. Suga began to tickle me again, I was vulnerable at this point and he took advantage of it.
"Suga!" I yelled, laughing as he continued to tickle my sides, Sugawara was also laughing. I felt the tears start threatening to spill from laughing too hard. I grabbed Suga's face, which thankfully got him to stop tickling me. There was no doubt I was red in the face from embarrassment and hard laughter along with the teary eyes.
"Please stop?" I asked a few giggles still escaping my lips. I let go of his face, stopping myself from bringing his face down and kissing him.
"Fine." Suga whined like a child, we both laughed as I sat up. I placed my head on Suga's shoulder, still trying to catch my breath.
"Idiot." i giggled as I slightly nuzzled my face into his neck.
"But you love me." Sugawara replied as he placed his own head over mine.
"Yeah, whatever." I sighed, enjoying the moment.
I'm not gonna lie, I will miss these moments with Suga when he finds his soulmate. We won't hang out as much as we do now. I hummed sadly/
"What's up?" The boy asked, noticing my change in tone. Suga got off and faced me with a concerned look.
"Huh? Oh, I was just thinking when you find your soulmate, we won't have many of these moments." I mentally slapped myself for telling him the truth, but I couldn't help it. I felt comfortable around him and trusted him completely, which is odd considering I haven't known him that long.
"Hey! I will always make time for you." Suga brought his hand up to my face and caressed my cheek. I looked up at him to see he looked sad, I immediately felt bad and hugged him. Suga was surprised and fell backwards on the bed, but he hugged back. I could feel him shaking slightly, this caught my attention. I let go of him and removed his hands from his face. Suga was crying but he was also smiling.
"Suga..?" I asked gently.
"Sorry, it's just that. I'm sad that you think we won't hang out once I find my destined partner. Then you read my emotion so easily and just hugged me and no ones really cared about how I felt before because I'm always asking them and..." He rambled on and sighed. "My parents go out for business trips a lot so I'm alone most of the time."
I looked at him with a small smile, "Thank you for being honest, but know I'll always be here for you." I gave him another hug. Suga was calmer now but hugged back still a little emotional.
"If it's okay with you can you stay over?" Suga asked, still hugging me.
"Of course!"
