"Are you okay Suga?" Asahi questioned the grey haired male, "You look horrible." The ace scratched his cheek, nervous for his friends response.
"I just...had a rough couple of days." His reply made me want to cry, Suga looked how I was feeling. Horrible.
For the first few hours, I tried to push the guilt feeling behind me and focus on the conversation I was having with the chaotic second years and Yachi. Nishinoya and Tanaka, as much as they were excited to be here because of Kiyoko, couldn't help but quietly gossip about the state Suga is in.
"It can't be his soulmate, his mark is still there!" Noya whisper shouted. Tanaka's face scrunched up as if that was the only explanation.
"I have an idea!" the bald boy snapped his fingers and lightened up. He swiftly turned and faced the rest of the team. "WHO WANTS TO PLAY TRUTH OR DARE?"
I froze, last time I played this game it ended horribly wrong. To my dismay everyone seemed up for the game, I sighed and went to sit back on my futon as others did so too. I couldn't help but zone out as the game started, I didn't really mind though, it may be embarrassing truths for some or stupid dares for others but I danced in my own little world. That is, until my name was called out.
"[y/n]! Truth or dare?" I looked across the circle to see Tsukishima staring at me with that sly grin of his. I wanted to stop playing knowing that saltyshima is the one to ask the question or tell me the dare depending on my answer.
"Truth..?" You could hear the fear in my voice, I watched as Tsuki's normal evil smirk turned into a grin. As i continued to watch scared for my life, his face changed again as if he had figured something out. I could feel myself sweating even more, dreading what he could possibly ask me.
"Do you know what's wrong with Suga-Senpai?"
I was taken aback, the truth wasn't something about myself that he can use against me. It wasn't my fear, crush, or what have you. But then I realised that Tsukishima may know something that everyone else don't. I gulped nervously, and hopefully unnoticeable.
"No." I lied. I heard a soft breath be released from beside me, most likely from Suga. I bit my lip, hoping that my turn was over.
"Liar." The salty blonde commented. I looked back up in disbelief, he definitely knew something. "What really happened [y/n]?" I met the eyes of the team looking at me for answers, I knew it would end badly. I can't tell them, Suga and I promised it would stay between us and if I did tell them I would die of shame.
"Leave it Tsukishima, if you really want to know what happened you ask me!" Suga raised his voice, the annoyance behind it shocked me and others to. No one had ever seen Suga angry before, to be fair no one had ever seen him any other emotion except for happy.
The team and it's managers turned towards Suga, as if silently asking for an explanation. I was looking at the floor in front of me, not wanting to look at anyone.
"I love someone that's not my soulmate. [y/n] just happened to be there and helped me talk it out. I told the girl how I feel later that same day and she rejected me because she loves me to. Okay? Happy?"
I heard whispers and I turned to Yachi, she and Kiyoko understand completely now.
"How about we go outside for some fresh air and exercise?" Kiyoko stood up, grabbing the attention of others in the room.
"OH! I brought a volleyball!" Hinata said loudly, I smiled slightly he was just a ball of sunshine. Like a little brother that never fails to make you smile. Everyone began to get up, I went out the bedroom door last with Yachi. I turned to spot Suga sitting on his futon, slouched and obviously upset.
"I'll catch up with you..." I motioned for Yachi to go on without me as I made my way back into the room and sat on my futon next to the sad male. I sat there quietly, wondering if I should say something.
"I'm sorry..." A crying whisper escaped Suga's lips. I faced him to see his head digging into his knees and arms wrapped around them securely. I couldn't say anything, my mouth opened and closed not knowing what to say.
"It's okay, it's my fault." I shushed his cries but only started crying myself. I felt horrible for what happened during the game, and that's why I hate truth or dare. It starts as a game but there is always someone who takes a step too far.
"Is it okay if we just sit here while everyone else is outside?" Suga's voice came out soft and hints of sadness still evident.
"It's perfectly fine." I whisper back, it may be my fault that he feels this way but if I can make it a little easier at the same time, I'm going to take that chance.
"Thank you [y/n]"
We must have falling asleep on our futons enjoying each others company, because the next thing I knew I woke up to the sound of photo's being taken. I groaned and rose from my sleep, hearing hushed voices and the sound of feet shuffling away. Turning my head towards the muffled giggles, I saw the third and second years holding their phones, while the first years and managers sat back watching either confused or didn't care as to what was happening.
I jumped when I heard the boy next to me groan and tiredly rise from his makeshift bed. I realised in that moment why everyone was taking photo's and pestering us. Suga pushed his futon closer to mine, something people only do when you really like someone.
The team would by know understand the situation a little more than yesterday. I looked back to everyone else, they all looked like they just woke up. I giggled when my eyes met Suga's hair, it was a literal mess. Normally where his hair lay flat, was now teased to the point it stuck up. His hair antenna was resting on his forehead.
In that moment, I didn't think about what I looked like myself. A mess as well no doubt.
"We should probably get ready for the day." I smiled as I stood up, already missing the comfort of the futons. Everyone nodded returning to their own belongings. I turned and picked up my bag as Yachi and Kiyoko walked out of the room to find some place separate to change. I din't think Noya or Tanaka would survive even a glance of Kiyoko's skin.
When we reached another room, Kiyoko locked the door, in case one of the boys tried anything funny. I pulled out the clothes I stuffed in my bag prior to the sleepover. Jeans and one of my favourite shirts, I smiled at my random selection. I changed quickly and swapped the empty space for my clothes from yesterday.
I turned to the two other females in the room, they had also finished changing. I decided to leave my bag in there and met a few of the boys down in the kitchen. The smell of waffles found its way to my nose. I looked around, the third years and a few of the more mature members were sitting across the room.
"Waffles?" Suga turned to the three of us females, I glanced behind me seeing Yachi vigorously nod her head, Kiyoko gave a simple smile and nod.
"Please!" I smiled to the grey-haired setter, he looked much happier today.
"I see everyones hair is still a mess," Nishinoya had jumped down the stairs, "Why don't we style eachothers hair!"
"That is the most girly thing I have ever heard from you." I stated, surprised at the suggestion, but it was a good one I'll admit.
"Let's have breakfast first." Daichi laughed, pulling out some plastic plates for everyone.
A/n: I personally dislike the start of the chapter, but thats me criticising myself :p
