In a bright morning
As you walk by me
Enjoying your fleeting moments of freedom
You look up to the sky
And laugh...
And laugh...
And laugh...
Until you started to cry,
Cry for the peace that you've never received
For the reassurance that was stolen from you
You cry your heart out
Until you have no more ugly tears to cry
But I think they are beautiful
The water drops falling,
Leaking from your vast, pained eyes
Rolling onto your cheeks
So intimately, it almost made me jealous
But then I reminded myself
that I could never be a part of your life
And with a sad smile I watched you from afar
As you picked yourself up, faking a smile
A smile I grew quite familiar with
Then made your way back, once again passing by me
Once again making me grateful to have caught a glimpse of you
When suddenly
You backtracked your steps
...towards me
I was so overwhelmed
That I didn't even realize you sweeping me off my feet
And you held me close to you
Breathing me in, for once feeling at peace
And I swore
That I would love and cherish you until I live
Albeit that won't be for very long
As roses had a very short life
...and I was your Rose.

Poems
PoetryJust some poems that I come up with. They are mostly written at the spur of the moment, so I'm very sorry if I offend anyone with my writing. And some parts are a little triggering, so if you don't want to read those poems you can just skip them :)...
