Today was the day. I finally move into my new house.
Recently, I just graduated from high school and got accepted into a college in Derry, Maine.
My house that I would be staying in was nice. One floor, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom. There was a basement also which was described to be massive.

I pulled up in my old car and got out, slamming the door shut. The house was cute. Just my size too!

I went to the trunk and grabbed my boxes and walked up to the front door.
I sat the boxes down next to the door and dug through my pocket to find the key.
I unlocked the house and swung the door open, picking up the boxes again.

I set them down and dusted off my shirt.
The house was empty, except the kitchen which already had a working fridge and some marble counters.
I went into the rooms, seeing how dusty the place was.
I made a mental note that cleaning supplies were needed.

About an hour later, the moving van pulled up to my house.
I opened the door and guided them to where I wanted my furniture to be placed.
I wished them goodbye, paid them, and off they left.
"Well that's settled. I'm hungry."
My stomach growled, but I didn't have any food.
I decided to go out to the store and grab some food and come back.
Besides, it was still light outside.

I got my keys and went to my car. I turned the car on and drove the market which was a good 15 minute drive.

I got inside and heard the bell dingle above me.
A cashier looked up and smiled.
"Hello, what brings you to the market?"
I look at her, her face was pale. Her eyes looked so tired. She seemed like she didn't have much fuel left to be working.
"Oh I just moved and I need food."
She laughed a little, "Oh. Well I'm here if you need me."
I nodded and walked away quickly.

I went through the aisles and picked out what I wanted. It was nice to be able to pick up food. I'm happy my mother loaded me with cash before I left my old home.

I check my food out and went back into the car. Once in the car, I got a chilling sensation.
It was like no other.
I turned on the car engine and started to drive down the road.
I got home and unloaded the trunk and went inside the house to start cooking.

I set the bags down on the counter, walking over to the drawer and pulling out a knife.
I grabbed some tomatoes and chopped some up to put on my sandwich.

I then grabbed the bread and some lunch meat and slapped it into a sandwich and ate away.
It was really good, considering that I haven't eaten in a while.

Once finished with my food, I cleaned my dishes and sat them on the drying rack. I was so sleepy, I just headed to my bedroom.
I opened the door and saw how neatly the bed was made.
I smoothen the sheets and sat down and sighed, rubbing my forehead.

I decided to clean up a little, so I fixed my desk area and my bookshelf.
Once done, I heard something coming from the living room area.
Almost like footsteps.
I was determined to check it out, but stayed in fear of robbers.
I then started to get changed into my pjs when I heard the noise again.
My determination filled me, and I finally said screw it and went out.

I didn't even have time to get fully into my pjs, so I had my shorts on and some tank top.
I walked slowly down the hallway to the light of the living room.
I walked around the corner, bracing myself for total fear.
I turned and saw a clown, about 6"3, standing there with a red balloon.

My eyes widened, but my fear wasn't as bad as I expected.
I held my hands to my chest, "Who are you?"
The clown smiled and chuckled while it bent down to my level.
"I'm Pennywise the Dancing Clown!"
My fear simmered down a little bit. This was just some birthday clown, what was so scary?
"Oh well. Hello, Pennywise. I'm Y/N."
His face lit up and he gasped.
"What a nice name! Do you wanna know something?"
I gulped down some saliva in my mouth, which Pennywise noticed.
"Yes?"
Pennywise went back up to his height, looking at me like a hawk.
"We're gonna be great friends!! I can tell."
I laughed nervously, saying goodbye then turning to leave.
As I turned, Pennywise grabbed my wrist and turned me back around.
"Oh no no no. You can't go yet! I want to get to know you better."
I yawned, "Well can we go in my room and talk about it?"
Pennywise nodded and we walked together to my room.

Once inside, Pennywise sat down on the floor, since my bed was kinda small for him.
I rubbed my eyes and started forming some questions.
"So Pennywise, how did you get inside?"
"Oh. Well I just kinda teleported in."
I scoffed. I don't believe him but I'll accept it.
Before I could ask anything, Pennywise charged at me with some questions too.
"So, Y/N why did you come to Derry?"
"Well. I got accepted into a college near by and I moved here today. So that's kinda it."
He smiled, rocking back and forth on the floor. He seemed really excited I was in his presence.
He asked me another question, "Do you have any interesting tales about yourself??"
My mind raced. I had many stories about me, which one should I tell?

I exhaled, "Well. The one time back at my old house, I was cutting wood as apart of my chore that my mom gave me when I graced my hand and cut myself."
I look at my finger which makes me Pennywise stop rocking and listen to my story more.
"So, I decided. Hey, why not sample my blood a little. Taste some. So I did."
Pennywise look at me, almost like I was a steak. His eyes turned a little orange, which alarmed me a little bit.
He looked at me contently, "So? What did you think?"
I sighed. "I put my whole finger inside my mouth. I sucked the blood off my finger and it tasted pretty good. It wasn't bad surprisingly. So, that's one of my stories."
I looked and saw Pennywise rocking again, but instead his eyes were full yellow and his mouth was drooling.
"Oh that's a good story! Tell me more Y/N!"
I smiled, trying not to seem scared.
"Oh no. I am tired, I need to get to bed. Otherwise I'll be useless tomorrow."
Pennywise frowned a little, he seemed really bothered by me saying no.
"Fine. I'll see you tomorrow Y/N."
I waved goodbye to Pennywise as he disappeared in the shadow of my room.
That finally made me realise, he wasn't joking about the teleport thing.

What a strange clown.
